Thanks to this site, I've discovered a lot of games from giveaways which I've added to my Steam wishlist.

So in this thread please post some interesting looking and possibly not-so-well-known games from your own wishlist that you think others should take a look at. Try to pick games you rarely see given away on here! I know many of you may have hundreds of games on your wishlist, so let's set a limit and say you can recommend up to 5 games from your wishlist. Please link to the Steam store page to make it easy for everyone to browse :-)

They can be regular games, early access, not yet released etc. As long as there's a steam page to add it to your wishlist. I figure it's a good way to discover some new games that maybe some people weren't aware of.

So, here are 5 from my wishlist:

Vagante
Nice looking pixel-graphic rogue-like (with co-op too!).

Darkwood
Still in Early Access, but looks very decent. Procedurally generated, top-down RPG horror.

RUINER
A kind of futurisitc, cyperpunk Hotline Miami vibe going on here. Devolver Digital released a new trailer on youtube, but it's not on the Steam page yet for some reason.

Midnight Animal
A standalone mod of Hotline Miami, approved by the devs. Not released until August, but it'll be free to play!

Jotun
A beautiful looking adventure based on Norse mythology.

GIVEAWAYS!

Finally, not a requirement just an idea if you're feeling generous, post a giveaway to a game that was on your wishlist, but you now own!

Here's a giveaway for Feist which was on my wishlist until recently. So far it's very beautiful and reminds me a lot of LIMBO. It appears to be quite short, but enjoyable :-) The giveaway runs for a week. I might add a few more giveaways during the week :-)

One more giveaway, not from my wishlist, but still has good reviews. Fallen Enchantress - Legendary Heroes.

Zoey1 is kindly giving away DISTRAINT. Cheers, Zoey!

Iracional88 kindly adds To The Moon. Cheers!

IovoI, our owl faced friend, kindly adds Risen. Thanks!

small update...
Thanks for all the great suggestions so far. I'm glad to see that many of you are also expanding your wishlist because of this thread!
Here's a few extra giveaways:

No Pineapple Left Behind
Town Craft
Julai

Fishworm has kindly added a giveaway for This War of Mine. Cheers, fishworm!

Bastirei kindly invites you to his Home, just remember to bring some drinks with you. Cheers, bastirei!

As you can tell from my vastly huge list of games on my wishlist, it's quite hard to pick!
A Quiver of Crows is something that looks interesting. A twin-stick shoot 'em up with an art style that pops out of your eyes. It did get several delays, but it looks very promising.
Junk Jack was a game I played on the iOS years ago (to be exact, I'd say about 4-5 years?) This sandbox game was pretty great for its simplicity and the large amount of secrets and treasures that can be found.

Also, since my heart hurts everytime I see a Lone Survivor gib, that I don't win, please accept this little game, which seems to be kinda similar to LS. :D
Feel free to add to OP, if you'd like. ♥

King of Dragon Pass I posted KoDP in similar topics before. You have to manage your barbarian tribe in a world full of magic. The setting is based on Glorantha, a fantasy world developed for the pen and paper RPG Rune Quest. There is a gog version, which is the original game release 1999, and a Steam version that is extended in some parts (more random events), but missing some options (see comments on Steam).

Lords of Xulima, I would love to play it but know I could not find sufficient time tight now. So have a GA.

Because RCTW seems to be quite bad, I would love to give Parkitect a try. It seems to be closer to the old RCT games.

I still have to get around to playing Roller Coaster Tycoon 3 someday. It's been in my steam library for a long time!

I only played RCT1 & 2 back in the day and once or twice since then. What I remember from reviews of RCT3, you should stay playing 1 & 2.

I haven't actually played any of the series before. The reviews on Steam of RCT3:P seem good though. I'll give it a go sometime :-)

Road redemption - reboot of a classic game. It's just SP and CO-OP at the moment, but since the game is still in EA, I hope it will have MP and more to it.

The Song of Seven Looks pretty nice, and found it here on SG (Thank you, Pete), like most things on my wishlist.

Which is why this thread needs cookies. Or olives.

Good! That's the idea :-)

I've got Disgaea on my list too. But I already played it to death a long time ago, so will wait for a big price drop before I pick it up again I think.

Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice, a game I'm overly excited about. The makers of Enslaved: Odyssey to the West & DmC: Devil May Cry are making it, calling it a AAA indie game. It's to be released this year.

AER looks like it's gonna be a lovely journey ;)

Nelly Cootalot: The Fowl Fleet a charming point n click title with a lot of humour and a pirate vibe. The female Threepwood so to say ;)

Salt and Sanctuary I discovered thanks to fiftykyu on this very site. Thanks, Totoro, looks awesome! A 2D side scrolling Dark Souls with grim graphics.

Bolt Riley, A Reggae Adventure - ever wanted to play a reggae adventure? Well, here's your chance :)

AER looks really nice, added to my list now.

Nelly doesn't look quite as mighty a pirate as Guybrush.. but interesting all the same ;-)

Songbringer - I actually preordered that one on humble
Epistory - Typing Chronicles - ...hopefully going on sale during summer sale
Ori and the Blind Forest: Definitive Edition - I don't even own the old version yet because I missed the sale. Actually my #1 wishlist game.

Oh man, Songbringer looks great too. I'm glad I made this thread, my wishlist is getting bigger by the minute!

And yes, Ori is such an awesome game. I told a friend it was one of the best platformers I had played since Super Mario World. That's not a claim I would make lightly. I know it's a very different type of platformer than Mario of course, but there's no doubt it has a charm and entertainment value you can't beat.

Songbringer looks a bit like Hyper Light Drifter. You might give that one a chance as well ;)

I still haven't decided which format to buy it on. But PC tends to be the cheapest, so probably steam!
