Thanks to this site, I've discovered a lot of games from giveaways which I've added to my Steam wishlist.

So in this thread please post some interesting looking and possibly not-so-well-known games from your own wishlist that you think others should take a look at. Try to pick games you rarely see given away on here! I know many of you may have hundreds of games on your wishlist, so let's set a limit and say you can recommend up to 5 games from your wishlist. Please link to the Steam store page to make it easy for everyone to browse :-)

They can be regular games, early access, not yet released etc. As long as there's a steam page to add it to your wishlist. I figure it's a good way to discover some new games that maybe some people weren't aware of.

So, here are 5 from my wishlist:

Vagante
Nice looking pixel-graphic rogue-like (with co-op too!).

Darkwood
Still in Early Access, but looks very decent. Procedurally generated, top-down RPG horror.

RUINER
A kind of futurisitc, cyperpunk Hotline Miami vibe going on here. Devolver Digital released a new trailer on youtube, but it's not on the Steam page yet for some reason.

Midnight Animal
A standalone mod of Hotline Miami, approved by the devs. Not released until August, but it'll be free to play!

Jotun
A beautiful looking adventure based on Norse mythology.

GIVEAWAYS!

Finally, not a requirement just an idea if you're feeling generous, post a giveaway to a game that was on your wishlist, but you now own!

Here's a giveaway for Feist which was on my wishlist until recently. So far it's very beautiful and reminds me a lot of LIMBO. It appears to be quite short, but enjoyable :-) The giveaway runs for a week. I might add a few more giveaways during the week :-)

One more giveaway, not from my wishlist, but still has good reviews. Fallen Enchantress - Legendary Heroes.

Zoey1 is kindly giving away DISTRAINT. Cheers, Zoey!

Iracional88 kindly adds To The Moon. Cheers!

IovoI, our owl faced friend, kindly adds Risen. Thanks!

small update...
Thanks for all the great suggestions so far. I'm glad to see that many of you are also expanding your wishlist because of this thread!
Here's a few extra giveaways:

No Pineapple Left Behind
Town Craft
Julai

Fishworm has kindly added a giveaway for This War of Mine. Cheers, fishworm!

Bastirei kindly invites you to his Home, just remember to bring some drinks with you. Cheers, bastirei!

Well, the first one was a brown and dark red mess that made my eyes hurt. Even the puzzles weren't that great. Probably others were like that and never even looked at the sequel, not expecting much better.

I had a blast with Torchlight 2, if you can convince a friend to buy it too, it's much better playing the whole game co-op.

Ori is wonderful, one of the best performers I've played.

And yeah I'd like SUPERHOT too, very unique game.

Stikbold! A Dodgeball Adventure - Local coop seems like SO MUCH FUN. :D
Caromble! - Similar to Breakout.
ZHEROS - Another local coop game that seems fun and polished.
Pony Island - Friend highly recommended it to me, still need to get it.
Mystik Belle - Love the graphics and Metroidvania style games.

Deathstate - Lovecraftian bullet hell rogue-like/lite - I've only seen this being given away once, and that also happens to be the reason I know about it :p

Also, a few upcoming ones (first two have already been mentioned previously in this topic, while the third had its own separate topic a few days ago)
EITR
Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice
Anima Gate of Memories

Satellite Reign - an atmospheric cyberpunk game that reminds me of Blade Runner.
The Green Means - feel childhood nostalgia in this little gem where you play as these tiny green toy soldiers in a multiplayer mode.
Sketch Tales - you need a sword? Draw it! You need a company? Draw it! If it would only work in real life too. Read more on the store page, it's hard to explain in a few words.
Reus - you are a God, you can control nature, weather, you have power to control everything except... mankind. Let's see how it'll end.
Yon Paradox - a puzzle game where the hardest puzzle is yourself. You have to repair time machine while avoiding your past alter-egos to not create paradoxes.

Great idea! I added 10+ games to my wishlist that I didn't know. Here's mine:

  1. Guns Lifetime Access it is a DLC from a free game World of Guns: Gun Disassembly. I do recommend this because assemble and disassemble weapons is one of the best puzzles that I've ever touched in my life.
  2. Salt because nothing is better than mix survival and procedurally generated enviroments.
  3. Cogs for those who likes hardcore and challenging puzzles.
  4. Choplifter HD because SNES nostalgia.
  5. EarthWorm Jim Collection also because SNES nostalgia.

Man I used to love Earthworm Jim when I was a kid. Looking at the steam reviews, it seems like they did a pretty shitty job on porting the first game, but improved things on the the sequel.

I have over 200 games on my wish list so I will cheat and list 10, upside is none of them has been mentioned yet ;) (and I had a hard time removing more games as these really look great to me)

Chiptune Champion - If you like rhythm games like Frets on fire, Guitar Hero etc.
Mighty Switch Force! Hyper Drive Edition - Cool platformer made by Wayforward (Ducktales, Shantae)
Gryphon Knight Epic -shmup with a knights and gryphons, do I need to say more?
BiT Evolution - platformer that goes through different ages of the gamegraphics
Sky Force Anniversary - shmup with great graphics and looks good
VolChaos - Retro platformer that looks cool
GRIP - Inspired by the older game Rollcage (google that if you need to)
Super Cane Magic ZERO - No idea really, trailer won me over xD
8-Bit Armies - Recently released retro looking strategy game
Assault Android Cactus - Twin stick shooter (I think?), looks awesome

I'm interested by Chiptune Champion, wouldn't mind trying out a demo first if they release one. Nice idea though!

I remember Rollcage, it was great fun. It looks like they've done a fantastic job on GRIP already. Will definitely check that out sometime. Cheers for all the recommendations!

Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc
Crime solving and courtroom drama? I need to see this. If it is half as good as an Ace Attorney game, it's worth it.

This one used to sit on my wishlist forever before I got it. It is hands-down one of the best puzzle games I ever met:
The Room

No Man's Sky - AAA universe exploration (so many possibilities)
Factorio - Top-Down Sandbox Factory Management (rather uninteresting premise until you see the gameplay...oh my...I need this)
Enter the Gungeon - Rogue-like dungeon crawler with TONS of guns. For fans of Binding of Isaac and Nuclear Throne.
The Long Dark - SURVIVE! No zombies, no monsters, just winter.
The Solus Project - Puzzle Survival game in an interplanetary setting. Looks gorgeous.

No Man's Sky it's gonna be great. Not long to go now!

Gungeon is on my list too :-)

I'm enjoying The Long Dark, though when I first started it was still quite early in development. They have improved and added a lot, it's getting better each time.

Is it true that nothing respawns in the The Long Dark? So if you loot a place, there's no point in returning?
