Is Payday The Heist good?

Fun in multi only, like many games.

Then you heard wrong :) maybe from some Left4Dead fans which say its a stupid copy...Payday is a great game when you have someone to play with...played over 60 hours the first Payday i think...

But its boring when youre alone. The bots are stupid, really stupid...its an Coop Game and you should play it like this...

I started with Payday 2 between them has some different things.
IF you've played Payday 2 for sure you will enjoy The Heist ^-^

Well I bought PD2 on black friday sale and i regret it. Game has nothing to offer, if u played it once u know everything about it.

Both games in the series are so so for me but lot of my friends are enjoying it. Bit repetitive but most co-op games are like that. (aren't they?) Only thing I remember are those scary bulldozers.

Payday 2 is a lot better but let's be honest. At 1.89 you can't go wrong with any game except maybe Bad Rats xD

According to statistics on steam, there're not many players playing the first games. Since this is multiplayer based, consider that before buying it.

The first Payday is, in my opinion, superior to the second one if you want a thematic heist experience. It does this very well and with friends this is the most fun I have had since Left 4 Dead. If you're going for something more "gamey" and want that Skinner Box reward feeling, Payday 2 has more numbers and stuff for you to work on ;) Both are good games, but I prefer the first one. Please be aware that there is no modding possible so there will only ever be the official heists to play.

It's really fun! I got it because I wanted to at least try Payday 1 before 2! The gameplay, characters, weapons, you name it, together they make a polished game! My only complaint is the lack of maps, since there are only 7 maps to play on, and 9 after buying the DLC(not on sale)!

In short, buy it!

Yes, it's a lot of fun especially when you play with 3 friends. I have spent only 25 hours playing it because I don't have much time for games. But it's definitely worth it.

I don't expect that it is very good or excellent. But for that price, even thought it could be average or something like that, it should be worth the price. I got it just for the low price.

Fun but only if you have at least one friend to play with. If you do then it is top.

If you enjoy co-op games, it's definitely worth picking up and playing with your friends. The huge discount just makes it sweeter.

one of my favorite games

Played mostly with bots and is still fun as hell. Imagine playing with people. Also it has unlickables and levels whcih make it more replayable.

For $2 I had a blast last night. If you like CS:GO or COD4 you should enjoy it. Not sure how long I will continue playing it though.

I found it to me an average run of the mill shooter that happens to take place in banks and whatnot. Meh.

I didn't like the feeling of the guns. The AI was disappointing. I suppose if I want a co-op shooter, I just find it hard to beat the L4D games.

BUT... for the current price, it is impossible to go wrong. Many people do like it... I wish i could feel for the game what they feel.

This game is so freaking fun, with 90% off, they are literally giving it away..

It's a great game. Yes, Payday 2's newer, but the first game is WAY better.
