How much money did you waste on steam and what benefits it had on the long term

I just know what mine is worth, luckily I have no clue what I spent on it.

According to wastedonsteam.com around $2967, and as for benefits, around 3500 hours of gametime, which translates to $0.85 per hour played. Granted, not all the hours were actually played, and not all that money was spent. Still pretty accurate I'd say.

I have spent enough money to regret spending it. But I don't! Benefits? I will never run out of games to play. I currently have over 200 games I never hit play, not to mention the games I haven't finished. But I like to collect games, specially if they are on sale.

...I've never purchassed ANYTHING on Steam...ever...no bank account, and no local stores sell Steam gift cards :(
All my games are from Humble Bundle gifts from my family, or games I owned that have compatible with Steam keys...

that wasteonsteam site says my account is worth $3000 but honestly ive only put 150 bucks in real life into my steam account, im a avid bundle buyer, plus the gamersgate bethesda bundle error put my account up 400 bucks

I've spent just 10€ on my steam account, on Terraria and Ace of Spades. Everything else was with trades and from people that gave me.

Terraria it's fun. Ace of Spades doesn't work, even having minimum requirements. I was a lot excited for having it, since I played 100s of hours playing the beta. But I heard that a lot of beta player didn't liked the steam version. I especially didn't liked because the beta version could run even in a potato and the gameplays could be 10 minutes or 3 hours, all depending on skill and strategy. If someone wants to play it, play the beta in buildandshoot.

wastedonsteam.com says i my games are worth $924.65 but if i count my paysafecards i get 250€ which is 325.4 U.S. dollars. Thats probably because i bought most of them when they were on sale. And some are out of humble bundles.

I've spent $2828.07USD and played for a total of 1050.1 hours. That's $2.69 per hour. Not too bad for entertainment.

Don't forget I only really spent maybe 1/4th at the most 1/2nd of that total USD amount.

I wasted 15K$, benefits? I could get 40$ from selling the game cards from all the games I got.
