There's also the consideration that the normal approach is (Steam Store link + Archie link, as per the thread you linked), or (SteamDB link, which provides both the same install code as this OP provided but also easier access to the associated game's store page, and is used more for the games which can't be activated simply through a game's store page).
Just the install links themselves feels a bit sparse, by comparison, especially given that the OP could have also simply gone the route of linking the store pages over the game names provided. Of course, it mostly comes across as weird due to it already being covered so well elsewhere. And, to be fair, this isn't necessarily one of the easier topics to search out.. Oh, no, nevermind, it apparently is, at least if you make sure to search it out with the proper plural formatting. Still, that does seem like a nuance one could overlook if they're distracted or off-game.
Well, putting aside that the OP's self-attested intoxication may have played some part in matters, the OP has only been on the site for a few weeks now, so any unfamiliarites with existing threads, thread layouts, or search utilization no longer comes across as "kinda weird" in light of that consideration.
I can't really find any justication for their hostility further in the thread, however.

Thanks for your kind consideration just for your last sentence I can say there is a edit button for everyone. Anything can be locked deleted dissed but sharing is good. I got some positive comments about this subject which makes me feel good last night. Thats about it.

Hey. I understand that most people weren't sure what do do with a steam://install link. Personally I don't usually add them, since I prefer to see first what game I am installing. But since you were so kind as to also add the name of the game, it was very easy.

Basically this might be like a treasure hunt because If you hit a game erased from download. No steam download links and has card slots in it. I dont play cards but If you make a new group of cards (booster pack) for a non existent product. I think you can hit a jackpot. Just fantasyzing.
