Dam, can we get a fix on Blackguards already?????? this is ridiculous
Standard edition was 20p, yet cheaters are giving it for 40, 60 and NOW 100. WHY NOT 1000? such a good game it is

Are You Also Annoyed By This Buggy Blackguards?

Yes Of Course
Yes I am

If I remember correct it is a bug that happens when a game bundle gets cheaper on Steam than the single game. It should correct itself as soon as the offer ends. If not be sure that it will be corrected in regards to the CV.

Yea, I wasn't entire sure what the problem is. But the problem lies in the Steam API if I remember correctly so there is nothing the site can do at the moment. You will have to live with that. Also since the point regeneration is connected to the points of the generated giveaways the effect should slight neglect itself.

It's not a Blackguards problem, it's a problem that happens with multiple games when they get bundled in steam and the bundle is cheaper that just the game. Somewhere inbetween the pricing taken by SG is of the bundle instead of just the game alone, so the points needed go to the bundle.

The bundle in question is Daedalic - Gigantic Bundle, which has Blackguards in it.

Ye but I'm pretty sure people are selecting Blackguards because they are giving away Blackguards. Not Daedalic - Gigantic Bundle. Its not their fault system is bugged

Ah yes. So people who make GAs for games that have buggy CV are cheaters?

No of course, its not their fault. But its still unfair, they could select the one with 20p, not 100p.

I think you don't understand how this works. The giveaway creators can't choose how much points a certain game is worth.

Blackguards got its points raised from 20p to 100p due to a bug. There's nothing a GA creator can do about that.

Also it doesn't matter longer term, as soon as the price is back the normal it will adjust the GA points and the CV they got (or will get, depending on timing). Just in case that was also part of your concern...

It's not like they're gonna get more CV anyway. When the price gets fixed their CV will go back to the original value.

One thing they can do is that if there's a price change (from api), they can pend it.

Old Steam API error. The plus side is that it really drains the bank of the auto-entry scripts and also makes people think if they want to burn points on entry with this entry fee. Downside is that it is super easy for hoarders to store a ton of points in these giveaways if they run for long enough and enter even more cheaper ones.

its $40 so its 40 points , not 20 as some say
after the bundle end, everything well back to its normal.

If you would like to see this fixed, you can try writing to Steam support and ask them to improve the Steam API.
