I believe they give extra in game items and faster progress than the free version.

I looked into Warhammer 40K: Eternal Crusade a while ago because I was wondering if I should activate my key from Humble BANDAI NAMCO Bundle 2 and this is what I found.

I bought some bundles and i have unused keys/gift links for these games:

Battleborn
but now these games are free to play and my question is... are they useless or keys gives some extra content, privileges, upgrades or something in the game?
