Apparently the keys cannot be activated on Steam.

Edit: Looks like I'm wrong and this doesn't apply to everyone. The key I received was invalid, and others in chat reported the same issue. For those with working keys, how are they formatted? The one I received was XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX.

You can test it without activated it! If it is a steam key, it will say that you already own the game.

No, that's default formatting for steam keys. Mines is like that too.

Steam has different, weird formattings for some games afaik. So maybe NA keys look different. That's why I wrote it. GMG also sometimes seems not to know what they sell, eg. when they claim to sell versions of some games that never existed.
