Don't try to hold you tears, they are really, really therapeutical (fuck these stupid stereotypes about men and tears). My head would have just exploded 10 days ago when my granny died if I'd tried not to cry. I think I get your pain as I've just come through the same situation myself; I hope you were at least able to visit her in her final hours, cardiological intensive care is closed for visitation here. The only person that actually helped me stay sane in the first couple of days was my tiny niece, not only an adorable child, but also a reminder that the circle of life keeps going on (however painful it is sometimes). I'm sorry for your loss. Don't hold your emotions back. Talk about it. Cry if you want. You'll get through.

I can sort of relate. My grandfather is in the hospital because he suffered a heart attack, and it's looking pretty grim.
I'm sorry for your loss.

Nobody can live forever, god create to make us die one day(christian say is another issue), if you have the ability to make ur grandma live forever, will u? Imagine yourself working in the same industry for years and years as you are just another "human" on Earth living, it will torment you.. I would never want to live forever, sorry for long story of my thoughts and sorry for your loss, I did not cry when both my grandma died, I was actually relieve as they would not be tortured by the pain and living with their strength fading day by day.

I know that, and no I wouldn't, especially with her illness, and I do know what you mean.

Thank you, it's like some people aren't lucky to see their great grandparents.

My heart and condolences go out to you on the loss of your Dad. I lost my son some time ago and when I'm depressed I go outside look up at the sky and talk to him and my Mom and my Dad and the rest of my family who have passed. Of course they don't answer except in my heart. It does help. If that's any consolation. Again so sorry for your loss.

...
Got told by mum, that my Nanna passed away early this morning (26/11)
I know it's never easy to talk about death. I do think of the good times, but that's when we still had a bigger family.
I went up to see Nanna, and I feel like a part of me is now gone.
I must be the unluckiest duckling. Being sick, depressed etc.
Anyway, time to end this chat, or I'd be balling my eyes out.
