Favorite Clicker game on Steam

With the plethora of clicker games coming to Steam, I was curious to know which ones are your favorite. Pick your favorite game in the poll, and if you'd like, you can rank them in the comments or share your opinions of them. I am only including the clicker games on Steam in this poll.

For me:

  1. Time Clickers. The most innovative and participatory of the clicker games on Steam. Pleasing visuals and fun shooter gameplay, making me want to try sometime try their other game, Time Rifters. Also, there are NO microtransactions.
  2. AdVenture Capitalist. First clicker game on Steam, and the first clicker game to grab my attention. I tried Cookie Clicker in the past since a lot of my friends played it, but I thought it was stupid. Must be that there are Steam achievements in this one. While AdVenture Capitalist has its problems, the visuals are nice, the core game play is solid, and they have quite a few witty puns.
  3. TIED: Clicker Heroes and Tap Tap Infinity. While they have their differences, both of these games are quite similar. Moderately fun games, but they begin to get stale after you have played them for a long time.
  4. Tap Heroes. The only clicker game on Steam to cost money. The graphics are alight and the gameplay is okay. No boss timers and no restarts do set this game apart from the others.
  5. Sakura Clicker. Absolute rubbish. No achievements, no change in scenery and no sense of level progression. A bare bones clicker game that only has the character sprites and sound effects going for it.

  • Those who like playing clicker games
  • Those who like writing scripts/programs to play clicker games for them
  • Those who have better things to do with their time

I "play" all of them (except for Sakura Clicker...not playing it when there aren't even achievements), but I'm getting annoyed by it right now xD they take a ton of time and I'm mostly just opening them from time to time.
I'm probably gonna uninstall them all soon.

I only play a few minutes a day, but it can get annoying. Hopefully I'll weed it down to just one or two.

Agreed. But then again, they aren't quite Desert Bus (yes, this game does have an ending).

Fun thing is, I wanted to play that gem but I failed at finding a working version (I'm sure I would eventually find it, but i wasn't so desperate to play it ;p).

I'm still waiting for the online version of idle game to be released on Steam (Found some on Kongregate, with bad graphic imo, but online nonetheless) because I want to play games with random people.

Ah yeah, I forgot about that one at the time of making the poll I personally thought it was really bad. Extremely laggy, filled with bugs, and just poorly executed. It was fun trying to get the higher badges, but I let me teammates do all the work.

Like in every game of that kind, at some point there wasn't any purpose to 'help' because 99% of your damage was autoturrets and other things like that. Funny thing is that this game was designed to be exploited. There even was an article about it on Kotaku (I think it was Kotaku :P).

I don't really like playing clicker games on the computer. The're more casual games I like playing on tablet. Except CH.

Clicker Heroes - I've spent most time with this one, in Kongregate, before it came to Steam. I got bored of it though, especially after testing the cheating methods. I no longer have interest. Still, I think it's the best of these.

Adventure Capitalist - I've tried it 3 times but I don't like it at all. Far too simple and boring.

Time Clickers - Haven't played it on Steam but I've played it on tablet for awhile. I like it. Still playing.

Tap Heroes - Played this on Kongregate I think,. it's ok but didn't keep me interested for very long.

Tap Tap Infinity - Haven't played it on Steam but a pretty long time on tablet. Not as good as Clicker Heroes, but I still play this one.

I only 'play' Clicker Heroes. Why do I play, I honestly can't tell. It was fun to level up at the begining but now, when i reached the point when everything take so much time I just check it from time to time and level up my best hero. I was thinking about checking out other games, but I think they aren't so different and I feel like I wasted too much time with Clicker Heroes and I don't really want to waste it on other clicker games.

Yeah, I really only like playing clicker games until I have to "start over". It is fun in the beginning of the games, but I don't really feel like doing the same thing over and over again. AdVenture Capitalist is a different case, but then the game mostly involves just running on its own, and it is much easier to progress in. After I get the 3,000 of everything achievement, I think I'll cut back on it though too.

I wish I never started playing Clicker Heroes but now that I do, my goal is to get all achievements which will take a loong time and it sucks. But yeah.. I only play Clicker Heroes but I'm never actually clicking, so.. I guess I'm not playing the game the right way anyway. Oh whatever :D

Yeah, there is no way I'm getting all the achievements. I gave up after about 3 assentions because there was nothing much left to see. I'll check on it every once in a while, but not on a daily basis. Even when using an auto clicker, I still felt like I wasn't making any progress.

I'm still playing it, like I said, I often just run it in the background while doing something else though. I agree that there's not much to it and it gets kinda boring after a while but oh well.

AdVenture Capitalist is best for me. Sakura Clicker is so boring and the only one reason that it has positive reviews is anime girls with boobs. Clicker Heroes is quite nice, but I didn't like it as much as AC.
I didn't play Tap Tap Infinity, Tap Heroes, Time Clickers, so maybe I will check them out.
Already have Castle Crashers so good luck everyone, and simple bump!

Argh! Why you do this to me?!? I was already playing AdVenture Capitalist and Clicker Heroes. Now I'm also playing Time Clickers and sometimes all three AT THE SAME TIME! Help!!!
