Yes, there's the reveal trailer on the left, but Evil Genius 2 doesn't really pop that much. O_o At least, to me. Maybe the AWA people should use extra, extra bold font in the future to avoid any mistake of the sort...

Yes. If you visit the site each day and do a task your level will go up. It's very simple one or two click stuff.

Same I just made an account and spent awhile reading but the site is trash and the layout is confusing, and apparently you have to keep doing tasks each day to have your level go up to be eligible for these things.

Yes well, you can't expect to go from level 0 to 30 in a week or so. It's a daily grind. Daily logins and daily quests, but it doesn't even take 5 minutes.
I admit the layout is dated and could be improved, but there are sticky posts explaining how to level up and they're quite easy to find.
All you need is patience. Took me about 9 months to get to level 30... but going from 0 to 2 can be achieved in a day or two, you only need 15 points to be level 2. To put this into perspective, I received 17 points for completing the two quests and logging into the site today.

I also completed the two side quests and logged in, and I got 5 points for each side quest and 1 for logging in. I still need 4 more points to get to level 2. And that was after an hour of reading the forums and finding out how to do all this.
Did I sound like I wanted to be level 30 in a day? I was complaining about the overall site even clicking on those posts in the forums don't even load and there are so many that there's not even a dedicated guide on how to use the site. I did the "tutorial" which was buggy and all it did was dump me into the forums to search for myself.

Wow, that sounds like a terrible first experience. I never had it that bad. O_o Out of curiosity, were you checking the site on your phone? It might be even more difficult to browse on a phone.
No, you didn't sound like you wanted to be level 30 instantly. I was just pointing that out because some people seem to think that you can get to the higher levels real fast and it's really not the case.
I suppose you already know, but I'll say it anyway just in case... You only received 1 ARP for logging into AWA because it was your first time doing so. You get more points for consecutive daily logins.

I did see that advent calendar, and no I was using my desktop, which is higher end and has no trouble browsing websites, which is why this website’s issues were so notable to me. Several pages all around the site would fail to load portions of the page, and without being familiar with the site I did not know what was missing until I found myself on that page again and the piece I was looking for the first time had populated.

You level up by getting ARP. You'll get ARP for login on the site and doing daily quests.
I wish people would actually take the time to read and research information themselves instead of waiting to be spoon-fed.
