What's your favorite movie and which surprised you? [lvl 2]

Very complicated question.
Favorite movie: Aliens (1986). It has everything a sci-fi action film should have. It may be "just another bug hunt" but to this day It has some of the best special effects just like Terminator 2.
Biggest surprise: The Big Lebowski (1998). Jeff Bridges is amazing. I can always smile and laugh with this one.

Favorite movie: One flew over the cuckoo's nest

Surprised me: There's a lot of them, but recently, I'd say I didn't expect the last Toy Story movie to be any good.

My favorite is still The Fellowship of the Ring.

Most recent pleasing surprise was Bad Times at the El Royale Really nicely put overall, it gave me some Tarantino vibes. I recommend.

i like taken or bourne type of movies (so i suggest these 2 since i watch them so many times !)

Terminator 2, Jurassic Park, or Matrix for me which are all 1990s movies.

Contratiempo (2016) aka The Invisible Guest. Fantastic movie, one of the best I've ever seen. If you like mysteries and plot twists you should definitely watch this one.
