Problems with TF2

A friend of mine managed to get me a copy of The Orange Box...I added it to my library...I said "Thank you, my loyal friend"...I received The Proof of Purchase...But the problem is that I didn't received full rights in game such as: expanded inventory (I still have 1 page) and the right to trade newly dropped items. I thought this might happen because of steam summer sale and the steam servers are too busy to register my premium account. Any opinions? Any advices? Please tell me. Thanks in advance.

yes...as I wrote...I can't trade newly dropped items. That means...I've been playing, dropped items, but can't trade 'em. My question is WHY? :)

AFAIK you do get premium with it, but I'm not getting any drop either right now, so maybe it will sort itself out later.
