Oh, interesting, so you'd wander around doing typical adventure game stuff in their school? And you don't even need an artist, that's a bonus! :) Students setting games in their school is pretty common, I think... Write what you know... :)
I suspect for "normal people" the entire genre would sound ridiculous today, assuming they managed to stumble across it... :) I suppose people would be as likely to play Dwarf Fortress as an old text adventure... :)
It sounds too much like effort, why can't we just see pretty pictures and shoot things? :)

So, instead of asking you about that Winged Cloud nonsense, how about this... Have you ever played a text adventure? You know, the old kind of adventure game, from before graphics were invented? With typing and reading and drawing maps on a piece of paper?
No, I didn't think so. Nobody plays that sort of crap any more. Oh well.
