Which group is better: Justice League or The Avengers?

Well, considering The Avengers had [for awhile anyway], someone who literally could not die, I'd say the Avengers.

However, that was a couple cycles ago. Currently, I'd say JLA :I

I personally prefer the Avengers (any formation) over the JL. But I am a huge fan of both!

The Avengers feel more like another well-known public superhero group, like the Fantastic Four. The JL come across like a huge, international and a bit beyond as well, help organization of heroes and superheroes. It comes across as more efficient, but I also find it slightly uncomfortable. No real public influence or insight. Pretty much only the heroes who are part of it, have a say in it and no one can really go in against them; it is basically a powerhouse hub, the JL. Not much you can do if they don't agree.

I think that makes the JL more interesting, because, like some stories have shown, if something goes wrong with so much concentrated power, you've got a terrifying problem on your hands.

But I don't dislike the Avengers. A small group makes it easier to get to know everyone and to actually have them struggle. But they feel more normal if you go by superhero groups, unlike the JL, imo.
