Just a quick question: if i don't have TF2 premium, can i buy TF2 keys from the community market and trade them to other guys without problems?

P.S.: I am premium, i need to know this for another guy...

I don't think one can trade items away as nonpremium, at least on TF2.

yeah, i heard something like that, too. it's ok now though, the guy got keys to pay me by trading one of his games. so it's not really an issue anymore. thanks for your answer. :)

you can, as long you've received them from someother one. And don't craft tradeable items they'll become untradeable

if you make a purchase on the store your account will automatically be premium?

That is from the Mann. Co Store, a community market purchase doesn't make your account premium.

I'm pretty sure if you're non-premium and buy any TF2 goods from the community market, they become locked to your account until used (as in consumed), gift wrapped, or the account becomes premium.

I don't see why not. TF2 premium mean dropped items are tradeable, to use market requires having billing address on file. I can give tradeable items to a non-premium account and they are still tradeable and marketable.

I saw some guys trading keys without having TF2 in their library, so I think the answer is yes (not 100% sure though).
