The Starter Package give you access to the game and $9,99 in virtual currency when the store goes live, plus a limited-edition avatar (Silver), weapon and shield.
The Skara The Blade Remains package will give you access to Skara and $19,99 in virtual currency when the store goes live, plus a limited edition avatar (Gold), a special armor, weapon and shield and your name in the credits.

i thought the same but they are diferent packs still so i think is better to not mark it as received but contact support to add the cheaper package to the giveaways list and avoid this kind of problems

I don't think SG can tell the difference between the two packs. There is only one choice on the giveaway list.

It can't because they are both the same game. It's a soon to be free to play game with two options for early support. Silver Package and Gold Package, both contain the same game, the bonus items are all that is different. OP wanted the gold package, got the Silver Package as a prize. It's understandable to be disappointed, but the worry that SG would ban them for not activating wouldn't happen. I own the Silver Package myself and it shows as Skara The Blade Remains in my Library.

Exactly. And it's the starter pack that was sold in bundles, rather than the "full" game. So I doubt any of these GAs are anything BUT the starter pack. So OP marking this as not received is faulty.

I don't think GA creators even know there is 2 versions, maybe bundles explain it bad, I wouldn't even notice.

The same thing happened to me, but if you read the store its the same thing, the "real version" just has more in game bonuses as I understand it. SG also doesn't have another Skara entry so I marked as received.

giveaways are specific. you won a specific package "skara - the blade remains", but you received "skara - starter pack". it seems to be like the answer is obvious. you didnt receive what was stated in the giveaway.
If its not listed FOR giveaway then they shouldnt have given it away in that fashion.

I just wanted to be sure, so I can't create a GA for "Skara Starter Package"? Or Steamgifts just doesn't know the difference between "Skara Starter Package" and "Skara - The Blade Remains"?

Wow, I had no idea there was a difference between the two, which is a problem because I have a GA for it and I only have a key for the Starter Package. I guess I didn't realize there was a difference between the two... Oops! I made a Support ticket and edited the GA to clarify that it is for the Starter Package, but I might have to delete it. Bummer.

This came up when I gave away the starter package and people complained about it being the wrong one. But consider the price. It costs 10P to enter which is the price of the starter package so whilst the names might not match up what SG is detecting s actually the starter package. CV is irrelevant as when it goes F2P the price will drop to zero leaving no CV anyway.

So i just won Skara - The Blade Remains but i received the starter pack instead which is basically a half-priced version of the game. I have been suspended before. :3 So THIS time i read the rules of SG and it states i can only mark the exact game received. Since this clearly isn't the exact game advertised, should i mark as received or unreceived? I don't wanna be suspended again.... :(
