When replying to Support on a ticket, does it matter if you hit the reply button or type in the "new comment box"?

I'm asking since my ticket was created on dec. 14 and got an answer from Support on the dec. 19, where I replied using the "new comment box" and I haven't heard a word since, so just wondering if...

if you use the reply button we get a message notification, and that normally really speeds up further action...

Okay, good to know for the next ticket...
But what do I do now, just wait or hit the reply button (won't that put my ticket in the back of the queue)?

you can safely use the reply button now.

Just don't do it regularly since we consider that spamming and that might actually lower chances on a fast response... :)
