Gog connect isnt what it used to be. They used to do it alot more until like last year ago.

Missed that one on Steam myself though own them on PS3 (shared account with brother who wanted them). Good luck finding other stores with it, even if I doubt any will come your way.

It's not the scripts/devs fault, more like the "CEO/CEO's"/managment, they invested way too much money than they can back. They bought licenses and licenses for so much money and then the game didn't made enough money to justify it.

It's like you buy 200$ of potatoes, get 50$ back from selling them and buy 200$ of potatoes again, this over and over again, then the money (from their sucesses) eventually ends and devs need to be paid, and that's when they needed to declare bankruptcy simply because they didn't had money to pay for it. It was really bad management.

Now another company can buy their assets (Telltale needs to get money to pay their debts), and eventually if another company buys the assets they can negotiate a deal and get the games back on store, but that will take some time and there's a possibility that it can never happen if the other IPs don't want to (batman, marvel's, minecraft etc)

mismanagement

They expected their games to sell a lot better than they did, so they overpaid for the IPs. They also were producing too many games too quickly, so they were saturating the market, and they ended up competing with themselves.
