Do you like to hear abusive words, curses, swearwords in games?
You play with people who are your skill level, elo hell doesn't exist, blaming teammates for dragging you down is just excuse when you can't accept that you are bad just as they are.
If you constantly play with "bad" players then it is 99% chance that you are same "bad" as them, they are your skill level, if you are better you would win games and climb up untill you again come to your skill level...
Also low level ! = skill, low level player can be skilled more than high level player
And with no offense but your 46% win rate confirms this.

No problem, it is okay and kinda expected, for same reason you can't accept that matchmaking is fine and that you are "bad" just as your teammates, it is easier to blacklist or find excuse that teammates are problem than to accept that there is nothing wrong with mm and that you need to accept that your teammates are your skill and you need to improve if you want to be better player and play with better players.
I will always call out when someone lieing that matchmaking is bad when it is really not bad, it is not perfect but nothing is perfect.

Yes you gave your opinion but I found it wrong so I replied.
And as you can see bad is posted as "bad" (that means I don't really mean bad, just if you think that your teammates are bad then you are just "bad" as they are, I'm just saying that they are your your skil level)

You shouldn't blacklist him. Actually you should thank him instead for telling you the truth. Btw, he did say "no offense" before mentioning your win rate. I don't play dota myself, I only play lol. But I guess ELO system (the matchmaking system) are the same. Your teammates will always be roughly at the same skill level of yours. So saying that your teammates "don't know how to play" = saying that you don't know how to play. Stop blaming other people, improve your own skill, that's the way it works. If you really want to "have fun", play other games. MOBA doesn't suit you, it's competitive, not for you to "have fun".

You can't win alone but you play with people who are your skill, if they are bad then you also just bad as they are, if you are good you are going to win games untill you come to your skill level where you gonna stay untill you improve again, if you don't improve you gonna stay there and there is nothing wrong with that, I'm just saying that mm is fine and if you blame mm and teammates for loses then you gonna lie yourself.

I did watch some experiments where 5 k mmr players take 2 k MMR account and easily climb it to 5 k MMR so I don't believe in elo hell and it has been proven multiple times that it doesn't exist.
Here is one of them: https://www.reddit.com/r/DotA2/comments/22m208/my_elo_hell_experiment_is_finally_over/?ref=search_posts
There are more experiments with same result.

Ehm, speaking somewhat embarrassingly for myself, the fact that I can curse like a drunken sailor is due not at all to my upbringing since neither of my parents so much as said "damn" around my sister and I growing up. No, indeed, I learned to swear where most kids do: In the church schoolyard.
Obviously a child's home environment has a lot to do with how they behave but it it isn't a fact that every single ill-behaved child has rotten parents/caregivers.

Only problem I have encountred in dota2 are russians. 95% of them are very unpleasant to play with. The fact that I know russian (I'm not russian myself) just makes it worse, because I understand every filthy word that they spew out. And I'm not kidding about 95% either, only few russians were nice people.
I have had almost no problems with any other nation, sure, there are assholes in any nation, but very rarely have I encountered them.
I haven't encountered racism or rude little kids. I have played nearly 400 hours.

I actually barely ever hear any excessive swearing in CS:GO.

depends if ur playing competitive/casual and ur rank, also to OP, what did you expect from the most competitive FPS game atm? Kittens and candies? ofc theres gonna be insults, blaming, etc some people are competing for rank, thats why its called competitive, in competitive sports people swear even in real sports, even the PRO teams swears the other team ( not each other since they are pro's but yea) and if ur talking about casual, well there are the kids ur talking about

Very true, both CS:GO and Dota 2 are games being played "professionally" in real competitions, and for a good reason. It has became more than just a game for some people, it's now an e-sport.

I think I would fall from chair is someone would say "Dear Sir/Madam, I would like to inform you I just applied force to your buttocks".
Damn, if only I were much much much much MUCH better player I would start to play CSGO competitive only to say stuff like this.

pretty much only happens in the competitive gamemode

Casual too - not that often, but happens.
But then, your "rank" depends mostly on how good/bad your teams play in competitive mode. When you get matchmaked with some total noobs (for example, with me...) I can understand getting annoyed that you'll lose your oh-so-precious rank :(

I don't know why but i rarely see such players.
I spent about 900 hours in Dota 2 and 500 in CS:GO plus over 10k hours in cs 1.6 but i find maybe ONE toxic player per 30 or 40 full matches depending on game (even if i live near Russia and i have to deal with them quite often).

That actually makes me wonder if the issue isn't the player who are complaining themselves.
I mean, if you just keep your mouth shut and play your game while ignoring annoying players, they won't bother with you, as far as I can tell. If you have a mic and you respond to their insults, then of course, a shitstorm is inevitable.

I actually found a lot of awesome people on csgo. I also found a lot of rude people. But its always the loud ones that stand out. The best community I found was age of empires online, probably because there were more adults than young kids. Unfortunately you can't blame the game. You just gotta admit that the parents are not focusing enough on the kids. That is what happens when you let the TV raise your kids.
That said, at higher levels you get less rude people, though you still get the impatient ones.

Patch 07/06/2015
csgo is a "competitive" game, so special kids act like jerks
Comment has been collapsed.
It depends on what kind of people you get queued with. Sometimes you find the amazing, funny people and sometimes you find the 9 year old kids that don't know anything but swear words and insults aimed towards someone who died or was at fault.

children should not play games like cs:go... we can talk about singleplayer-shooters but i don't think it is a good idea to let childs <14y play online fps.
its just to much stress and pressure and it seems that most of them can't handle this without freaking out.

There are just those people that act that way. Maybe they're just bullies, maybe they're trying to psych you out. Sometimes the arguing and swearing is contained in the other team. Its usually enough of a distraction to make for an easy win. I think young people swear just to feel more mature, using "Grown up" words they know they shouldn't use.

Personally I think you should be >16 to own a mic period. What irresponsible person would let a child own one?

That's just the CS culture.
Adults, teens and kids talk shit all the time on CS.
Don't you remember pubs in 1.6 back in the day? The arguments were hilarious xD

CS sucks a lot, I use it for just farm money, very bad game

That is why i do not deal to much with online games anymore, too many children, and to many adults who act like them.
It like being online they think it gives them a free pass to be morons, and yet they get that free pass,i think games need more restrictions on who can play and more proof of age.
the online on the first xbox was awesome as you needed an actual credit card to be able to access it which pretty much cut out most kids and idiots.Though it made online player base smaller,it also made it more enjoyable and i would take that any day over having millions playing and most of them not worth playing with.
Sad day for online gaming when you have to mute most if not all you come across, and block cheaters and other bs,just to try and enjoy a game. Now you must take the time to seek out people worth playing with which can still be some what of a crap shoot,or forgo public servers hoping to find decent people amongst all the random idiots.

there are no repercussions when they swear or insult you. i remember playing in a cybercafe long ago any kind of games and we rarely had someone insulting others because they lost of because their team was terrible. now, put the same people in isolated rooms and they would throw insults everytime something bad happen to them.

I mean, I understand if they get frustrated when someone kills me with me with a p2k while I miss the whole entire clip from my ak47 xD Tf2 is just... more kid friendly and not as serious. But both games suffer from those mic spammers. For tf2 its usually the whole entire game. For cs go comp, its usually just the warmup (thanksfully). Sorry if this didnt really answer your question though xD

Why children in CS:GO are so aggressive? I played more than 200 hours in TF2 and heard less "bad words" than 7 hours in CS:GO.
Btw it's sometimes funny. But does CS have bad influence on children? How to develop gamer's culture?
