Killing Floor 2
Zombie Army Trilogy

It's really kinda about what you want out of your experience.

Do you want to survive waves upon waves of gore with a class leveling system and semi-constant new updates? or, do you wanna crawl through a level getting from vantage point to vantage point blowing up Nazi zombies?

The games are different enough to offer a rather different experience between the two.

Both are fun but for me Zombie Army lost it's charm very early because it's just same thing over and over but in KF2 there are different classes which are played differently and as you level them the gameplay changes as well. Also coop is much better in KF2 where team really need to communicate and help each other and take various roles, however cooperation in Zombie Army trilogy is almost non-existence since you all just shoot heads off and go forward. I would take even first KF over whole Zombie Army Trilogy.

If you want to experience coop, I'd definitely go for Zombie Army Trilogy as it's more focused on that. Also, you get a lot more bang for the buck (4 long episodes). You can customize the difficulty in many ways as well (General difficulty, enemy spawns, etc.).

I've played both titles and must say that I've had a lot more fun with ZAT.

I played only 1st and 2nd so excuse me if the third installment changed the whole game but is there really any cooperation to the game? I remember only shooting things over and over and it seems to be there is really not a lot of difference between playing the game alone or with friends except there is just more of you. You basically do the same stuff: shoot zombies. It's fun but hardly a coop game. Unless you count every multiplayer PvE as coop.

If you have people to play with, NZA games are a lot better.

KF2 is extremely repetitive and gets boring very fast. Me and 4 friends of mine bought it but we only played for like 10 hours in total, it got boring and we haven't touched it for a month now.

From what I have heard, Killing Floor 2 is not as good as the original.
Zombie Army Trilogy on the other hand is 3 games so I'd say that over KF2 :P

But saying that ZAT is more fun with friends than solo or with randomers and KF2 is fine all round in that aspect.
