Something probably changed in price. Happens from time to time.

Yeah, prices drop. Happened recently to me, when AI War with DLCs dropped from $30 to $17. It happens, deal with it.

i think thats dumb, it should be only people who give it away after the price drop should get the reduced value, not the people who gave it away before the price drop, that isnt fair

Yea, I never understood that either. Giveaways of games that are later on bundled are not retroactively reduced, so it would appear the system is capable of distinguishing value based on when a giveaway occurred. The only reason for it I can think of is to minimize contribution value inflation over time.

With bundles, that is a different thing. The value of the game is still reduced by sales, but the bundle value basically just checks 'was this game put up after X date?'.

The only way to deal with this is to keep track of prices for all games in a database, which is too much work. Like I said above, deal with it.

You didn't bought it for 100% price anyway, only for -75%
It's hard to complaing.

i take two copy one for me one for another mate, i decide to put the second copy not redeemed from my friend in giveaway (for personal reason)

i dont get this lowering of contribution, this is playing with people money(if they lower the contribution for the lower price of the game)

You didn't answer the question. So I'll assume you didn't pay retail for it. If you did, that sucks for you. If you didn't, stop complaining. Either way, stop complaining.

The values here are determined by values on Steam, they don't keep a database for them. If the Steam value drops, same with the value here. Should be simple to understand.

It's actually because AirBuccaneers has been marked as bundled, but speaking about price drops, it doesn't seem right to lose contribution if/when that happens. Since you have given away a game when it was worth $50 you should always get credit for $50.

To do that, they would have to differentiate the pre-bundle and post-bundle games as 2 separate games and that's not really possible, since you can't tell where the game came from.
