If you go to your profile page and mouse hover over the registered bar, you can see when you created your account and that will be your cake day. Hope this helps!

There are actually three special days:
- the day you registered on SG: your cake day, indicated by the infamous factory.
- the day you registered on Steam: your, uhm, this has no special name. If you have Enhanced Steam, you actually get some confetti and streamers on the store page to celebrate. Otherwise, you only get a +1 to your "Years of Service" badge.
- the day your mother gave birth to you: your birthday. This is the weirdest one of all, and the consequences are variable. If you have people who care for you, you may receive physical gifts. If you don't, you may feel the irresistible urge to get drunk and wonder where it all went so desperately wrong. (Hey, that's what I've heard, anyway.)
Random strangers on the internet may feel free to congratulate you on being active on any of these days, indicating this with an appropriately cheerful message.

its my b-day today, and the previous 3 years before, sg was always showing this with a lovely cake next to my name...
what could have changed in my settings (here or on steam) that has hidden my cake ?
