Don't July to me, are you getting this bundle?
I'm guessing most devs didn't want to bundle their games during the steam summer sale. Daemon X Machina also likely got bundled to promote the sequel. Even Rogue Trader was bundled a couple of times before this (in expensive bundles/tiers). I'd expect next month to be better when the summer sale is over with
This bundle is basically for people that want Rogue Trader, the rest is just filler

It's called a choice, keep it or skip it, but I guess that will never be enough.

Nah, it's called Choice because for a few months they allowed you to select 8 games out of 10 or some such, which was a terrible design (I would always check which games were cheapest on the grey market, buy them for pennies and then "choose" the rest, heh). Then they dropped it but kept the name for whatever reason. It should be called Humble Monthly as it used to.

I am happy with the bundle too, but I play different genres

i finally cancelled my classic plan today, after being a day one almost 10 year subscriber. after seeing the price increase, i no longer feel like gambling that i won't forget to cancel each month.

If they'd throw in at least the first season pass of Rogue Trader, I might bite, even at increased price. But like that, naah. Looking at the Humble store, if there is something to purchase instead, incl. the 20% Choice discount, and meh. (Some offer there may be quite nice though, for someone who hasn't played e.g. Two Point Hospital yet).

I'm guessing they just didn't want to bother trying to compete against Steam's sale.

legit worst bundle + an increase? XD they lost to much money with last months glitch

Will Neo Cab and Blanc be changed to 0 CV since they're both approaching the 95% discount in keyshops?
Comment has been collapsed.
The price needs to approach 98-99% off for that to happen, so probably not.
The bigger risk is that a certain Twitch streamer might dump hundreds or thousands of those keys on his followers. That's been the primary reason why many of the cheap Choice games have been changed to 0 CV.

yes, but the reason will be more likely "just because" than any other "logical" explanation.

Humble Choice has always been the best option for getting very, very cheap game bundles that would hardly be worth that much on sale anywhere else.
With the price increase, it's almost the same to buy games on the gray market/on Steam directly (with regional prices). Plus, with temporary keys, the prices of gray market games are dropping significantly.
The bundles should be cheap so you buy things you wouldn't otherwise. I hope Humble Choice corrects this. I don't remember if it's a bad memory, but I do remember that when Humble Choice switched to Humble Choice, they set it to $20 for a few months, right?
I wouldn't say these games are bad because Death's Door and Cat Quest are incredible and very complete games; but they're not games I'd classify as "strong."
Also, I'm wondering if the Warhammer 40,000 games are cult titles or are they truly a well-known franchise? They don't usually make much noise on forums or social media, but there are a lot of them.
I have 30 games from the series on Steam and I've only purchased about 5; the rest are from bundles. How many do you have?

I might be in the minority here, but I fail to see how a $3 would change the value so dramatically, that it wouldn't make sense to buy the bundle over buying pieces you want from key-shops. You are in fact buying the same keys released by Humble, which share the same disadvantages that came with the actual choice, plus you pay some fees to the fencer of your choice and there's also the risk of ending up in some sort of scam..

It is a huge difference for RU+CiS and LATAM regions. Many people wait for specific games and doesn't care about other game fillers.

But they sell it as a package, it might or might not match what you already have in your library / wish-list. Also, even after price increase (which seems to be allocated for the IGN+ subscription that they force it upon us), the price still feels low enough, provided they include titles you are interested in I guess, otherwise you could just skip it.

This is what I think as well. $3 more is still $2 a game in the bundle (a little less actually). How people act like that isn't an amazing deal I will never understand. I do understand not liking the selection here and there, but damn. So much crying over pretty much nothing. If Humble isn't looking at each subscriber's wishlist and crafting the selection accordingly, they apparently are putting out shit bundles, lol.
Running out of keys being a separate issue of course.

They want to charge global price but provide region locked keys. I think it won't be worth in my region continuing after I will run out of prepaid months.
This monh is good for me, but only because I haven't bought any game from it before
I have 18 Warhammer games, but played only Warhammer 40k RTS series.

Region-locks are never a good idea and publishers are the main culprits here. Ideally, if they have a, what you call "global-price", they should at least give region-free games to everyone. However I'm curious, what's the price expectancy for RU+CiS and LATAM for the bundle to make sense? Maybe we should have regional pricings on Humble Choice, but then they'll have to sell region-locked keys, because it wouldn't be fair for EU/US regions.

It hard to tell, may be 7-8 euros. I prefer global keys with expiration keys, region locked ones limits gifting too much. My friends has different regions in steam

This could have been covered by an annual subscription, the Black Friday one was the best, but the one before the price increase wasn't that bad either. I know it's not ideal, but at the moment it's either that or waiting for coupons and hope the keys don't get OOS.
And while I wouldn't mind a better price per month either, I'm also aware of the fact that business wise this is not feasible.

In the end, buying from key-shops, you are most of the times, re-buying Humble/Fanatical leftovers and without going any further in the grey aspect of the whole thing and the additional fees, you more or less end up in a similar position money wise, but you have the satisfaction you didn't go as low as supporting Humble/Fanatical, which deserve to be punished for not fulfilling people's ridiculous expectations for the asked price. Instead, you from buy and support some fencer, while bashing as hard as you can the people that make this thing possible in the 1st place. How does this even make sense, why all the hate and negativity, isn't it enough you can get Steam licenses at decent prices and then you can simply go play and enjoy them?

Yeah, I'm not sure about the others, but then again that's their problem.
