Lego games are awesome, so I made a list of film trilogies that could be LEGO games:

Back To the Future
Spiderman Trilogy
The 3 new Star Wars' that are coming out
Jurassic Park
The Hobbit (when the other 2 come out)
Home Alone
Star Trek
James Bond (I don't how this would be made as a LEGO game, maybe if they did 2 or 3 missions for each movie and sold it for full price)
Toy Story
Shrek
The Simpsons (I know this isn't a film Trilogy but they could do episodes or just just make it up like the new LEGO Marvel game that is coming soon)

LEGO games that probably won't be made because they aren't for children, but would still make awesome LEGO games:

Alien
Scream
Die Hard
Austin Powers
Terminator

If they are Bold, it must I want them NOW

Actually it's not a trilogy, but I would love to see a lego game: The Goonies

Disney have already stated that starting with Episode VII in 2015, they intend to release a new movie every year, with several already planned. Not all of them will be Episode #, some will be focused on well known characters instead.

Series is getting milked for every cent.

Nah, Disney is ignoring the books. They are making a new story to continue the series.

Since they own Lucas Films, they can do what they want with the movie story. The extended universe though, that is written by a lot of people. Rather than pay them, cheaper to just make up new stuff.

When has Lucas respected the EU in the past? I guess it can be different with someone else at the helm, though.

Nah, Disney said that stuff didn't happen with their new movies. If they acknowledged it, the writers might want money.

Some of these already have lego sets so its not that far fetched that they might be made into games too.

I love 'em, but I can see why some folks would hate them. They can be rather repetitive at times. And they're all really easy, too. But they've provided a whole lot of dumb fun for my brother and I.

I definitely agree with you on those SNES games. Aladdin and The Lion King were good ones, too. There were a lot of really good kid-friendly games made for both the SNES and Genesis consoles. :)

The Lego games that I've played are very good. I have Batman, Indiana Jones and Star Wars Complete Saga. So I strongly disagree with you on those. I've had Lego Harry Potter on my personal wishlist, maybe Lego Lord of the Rings, as well as Indiana Jones and Batman sequels. And no, I haven't been a kid for a long time.

Lego Matrix, with some chapters driving the Nebuchadnezzar like "we" did with the millenium falcon.

I was about to suggest The Matrix trilogy. I'd like to see their tongue-in-cheek take on the mythos. It's ripe with comedic material.

If they did start developing LEGO adventures for mature audiences then Game of Thrones needs to that list.

LEGO The Dark Knight Trilogy (HUB-World: Gotham)
LEGO Iron Man Trilogy (HUB-World: LA)
LEGO The Hobbit (like you said, but please this time let us use the ring as Bilbo + sting blue orc glow with proper distance, not just 2m infront of you alert; HUB-World: Middle earth with focus on hobbit story areas)
LEGO Supernatural (the show, I know it will never happen but it surely would be awesome; HUB-World: Mini-USA)

LEGO games that I think could easily be made (but I'm not necessarily a fan of):
LEGO Avatar (the Cameron movie franchise; HUB-World: the weird planet they're on)
LEGO Star Trek (I can only imagine it being level based with the Enterprise as HUB)

It's hard to believe they haven't tapped Back to the Future for a LEGO game, yet. I'd also love to see some LEGO games set in the Marvel universe, similar to the current DC ones.

re: James Bond... Didn't they do the Potter games by years? Maybe create a semi-original campaign for each of the Bonds using some of notable characters, props, and settings from his era.
