for no risk, go steam, login
next go to the website, if site is legit, you don't need to put your password again
if website ask your password.. RUN !!!!!!!!!

Type in username and password on the original steam page.
Then only use the login buttons that don't require any login data.

This way phishing sites can't snag your steam login information ;)
