Trading Card boosters :/

Okay, so i got a Half Life 2 booster today, i downloaded Half-Life 2 again (right now im on linux because my ssd crashed a few days ago).

While beeing curious whether i get good or not so good cards i started to talk with some people and ask them whether they would sell or use it, i wanted to use it anyway but i just wanted to check what other people do.

I thought the Booster gives me more Card Drops, so once Half Life 2 was ready to go i used the Booster and noticed it just gives me instantly 3 random cards. But i think i didnt had the best luck today :) screenshot

how about you ? is it worth it unboxing them ? How many you need to get a foil card ;) someone already got one out of a booster?

i think after i know how this works its time for a huge unboxing video lol

Better to sell unless you really care about trading cards.

I sold my Trine 2 booster pack for ~1.25 euros profit, I won't complain about it since I really don't care about steam badges/levels. Also each card sold gets me closer to that sweet Skyrim Legendary Edition. :)

Selling nets you more money, but I love unpacking. I have been buying boosters when their prices were low or I was feeling lucky. No pay out yet, which sucks.

I got an A.R.E.S booster before but it wasn't that bad and helped me get my badge so its cool

Go enter a lottery with that luck. I never got one. If I did I would open one. If I had another sell it. And sell cards I have dupes of. Right now just from idling Binding of Isaac I got the same card TWICE.
