Clearly your problem is that you were talking to SleepyCat. As much as I love having him as a friend I know better than to talk to him while unpacking things.

As for your questions, I have only got one booster so far (They Bleed Pixels) and unpacked it. I did not get a foil, but I was happy to have three more cards to help me towards leveling that badge up another level.

Imho Boosters are exactly like tf2 keys, no one really uses them for unlocking crates.

I got one from Left 4 Dead 2 - 2x Tank and 1x Hunter, no foil cards... and just after that my friend got FOIL Smoker as the last card of normal drop ;p

i say open it if you want to collect the cards, sell if you want money.

I got one for Strike Suit Infinity last week. Opened and sold it, so 1.80€ profit.

Happened to me when I was idling CS:GO when the whole trading card thingy started. I managed to get 3 times FBI with my drops.

I got 3 Hangar cards drops from Really Big Sky so I know your feel :D

Only on steam will you see people complaining about getting free shit.

I have yet to get a booster pack but I did manage to get a foil Dr.Fetus. No idea how good that is but soon as I can it's being sold.

Some sources told me the % of getting booster packs and foils increases according to your profile level, might just be a theory.

If you get a booster, and you unpack it, but you don't craft a badge. Can you get booster again for that same game?

Or is it one booster per level?

I had the same thing happen with my ARES booster. Three of the same card. Would have made more just selling the pack, which I intend to do if I ever get another one.

Well, I think it's better to unbox them. You get a chance for foil cards and it has same value like 3 cards you get at least for some games. And you get a good chance to make a set.
