www.jigidi.com

If you just want to make puzzles, I highly recommend this site. You can make puzzles out of any image you want and they can have as many pieces as you desire.

+1

Jigidi is better than Pixel Puzzle and it's free. Sure, it doesn't have piece rotation, any "points" system, nor really any unique feature, but it's still pretty solid.

Pixel Puzzles Ultimate? why is it trash?

Edit: You played it 10 minutes and did the tutorial and that's it. If you think it's trash then other jigsaws will be trash too because they are basically the same.

I agree that the dlc's cost too much for what is inside. They did giveaways in the past so I got few packs for free like that, and if you own other Pixel Puzzles games, you will have the pack in Ultimate too.
Don't buy dlc at full price, it's not worth it, wait for the steam sales.

Pixel Puzzles games aren't very good, merely "ok". Some of the images are blurry or low-res, jigsaw pieces can't be locked with each other, they are instead locked to where they belong on the board (you can click and drag a piece around until it locks "somewhere").

The only redeemable factor is the hint system with points you can collect while doing the pizzles.

Admittingly, this applies to Pixel Puzzle 2 games, I haven't tried any of the Pixel Puzzle Ultimate games.

"Regular" Pixel Puzzles games are not so good, but Ultimate is better imo

Maybe not trash. But they have couple of serious bugs and they don't care to fix them :)

I don't think I experienced bugs yet, what bugs do you have in mind?
If you think about the locking system that CracktusJack talked about above, I'm not taking it as a bug, it is how the game is designed, but it's not a bug for me. Besides that I don't see other bug.

Your save file can randomly shit itself, that is the only thing except a bug that was fixed months ago (the pieces would rotate into the right orientation if you would leave them in the drawer, quit the puzzle and open it again) that I can think of on the top of my head and I have +600 hours in it. I really don't get the hate that that game gets.

They "fixed" that bug by making pieces randomly shifting itself xD For me it's a big no-no. I don't use drawer because of that.

I think it reset the pieces everytime you start to play. It happened to me but I disabled the rotation, so now it's not a problem for me anymore.

They fixed bug with drawer by creating another problem with the drawer. I don't like to solve challenge puzzles in one sitting and I would like to use drawer. But it shifts pieces randomly. I remember how I spend couple of hints on finding right rotation and left pieces in a drawer and then quit and came back after few hours xD I was quite pissed off :)

I lost progress with jigsaw couple of times.

And I hate the fact that you can't combine puzzles into larger pieces.. and it supports bruteforcing - You can place puzzle in the middle of nowhere if you found right spot. Jigidi is doing that much better but you can't rotate pieces there.

Why would you use a rotation hint on a piece you don't wanna use just yet? o.o Also you can brute force games where you can put single pieces together a billion times faster and easier (tho I think at least Jigidi fixed that in a way).

That probably depends on playstyle :)
Anyway - best jigsaws (at least for me) are real jigsaws :)Though I have not enough space for them :)

This is a mosaic jigsaw game that's currently on sale for $0,49.

And it has already been mentioned, but Glass Masquerade is really fantastic and offers free DLC as well. It's also on sale for $2,49 right now.
