ahhh im trying to find it where i hide it atm,it had some problem dont have something instaled and i instal that restart pc as it asked from me but still problem and friend tried to help me but nothing.. will send pic if find it heh :P

idle master not working for me well as much i hear it does not work after this steam last big update i had problems with it after update allways saying idling finished something like that..but i still have cards to farm and iddle daddy its slow and must keep my phone on charger over night cause i must set to not go to "sleep mode" cause will stop idle from some reason..

thanks will try that right now,i was searching on steam gifts something about idle and someone said there its extended edition of it and idk if its works for update it was like 4 months ago so i try it but nothing as well

still a problem only what i could find there its like from jun on github and only saying to download extended edition "like last update" and i do and still nothing ... it ask me to log in and i do and just quit that window and again ask to log in..

Reading the manual, even if that sucks and nobody wants to do it, usually helps to run ASF.

we did friend using asf whole time i was on idle master whole time he set it up for him self after they patch it what ever they did and working perfectly and then we went over team viewer to set up my but allways that missing stuff and install that but still like kinda missing if i try to instal again it said its allready instaled :/

There is nothing to install, just download and run ASF. Which takes less than a minute to do and it would tell you exactly what the problem is and how to fix it. But if you have already decided that it can't ever run because of some random unknown stuff then there is hardly any point.

i was using it before well once in life time cause had some problem with idle master but they fix it and now its broken for real rip :( and i cant fix that asf problem it want me to download from microsoft something what i already have instaled on pc so no way out

It is really pointless to repeat "But it didn't work earlier" instead of actually trying to fix it. You are wasting more time telling me that it didn't work once so it can't work ever than doing anything to actually solve the problem. Go read ASF Wiki if you ever decide you want it to work instead.

for me its slow as i said last night i got 3 cards for 8h idling ... idk if it stop somehow or what its happening but its not rly good to keep your phone on charger cause u cant shut down screen...

Idle master is not supported and doesn't work, there are some forks of it but they all suffer from the same problems and people report the same issues as with original IM, you can't fix its design flaws by a simple code edit. Idle daddy is good because it uses very similar to ASF method of idling, but it has far less functionality, far more issues and drains battery like crazy, not to mention that it needs constant internet access to work in the first place. It's a very decent project otherwise, it's plain obvious that its devs were using ASF concept as a base for their own project and thanks to that I can recommend it as ASF alternative, but only as that much, it's very similar to ASF in its early V0.x days.

ASF works fine for over 550k of people and is currently the most popular idling program, having userbase 10x bigger than idle master ever had (with its 50k). If you simply stated your issue in our thread then you'd get helpful reply in notime from one of those happy users and fixed your issue instead of spending hours trying to make idle master or other programs to work and failing regardless. Starwhite already explained it to you above - nobody will fix your issue if you don't want it fixed in the first place.
Not to mention that nearly every single issue is explained on the wiki, I see something that I have to answer personally only once in a blue moon, if at all. I can even make a blind guess and state that you didn't install vcredist as stated on the wiki in setting up guide, because it's the only reason due to which ASF could not work if you meet the very basic platform requirements.

When I installed ASF, I almost went insane. ASF did not start and the problem was not your program, it was my destroyed .Net framework. I could not install it or uninstall it. I needed 3 days to fix that. Maybe he has the same problem.
If the system programs are not installed in order, then you can destroy them. That's what happened to me. Now work all fine.

ASF V3 no longer has dependency on .NET Framework and it comes bundled with needed runtime, while the only requirement that ASF needs - vcredist is installed with nearly every single software and game on Steam as major dependency.

Right, i remember me now, it was not .NET framework... than after reinstalling this, ASF has too not start. Sry, long time ago, about a half year... It was C++ runtimes, one of them was destroyed and he have say, install fail or so. After uninstall, the same error. Must me remember how i have fix this... I mean, when he have the same problem

I'm using Card Idle Remastered, which is a remake of Idle Master with different interface. You select which games you want to idle by adding them to the queue, then you pick the idling method and start. (EDIT: You can queue up all games with a press of a button)
I personally never even bothered giving ASF a try. The fact that you can't idle games with it while you're playing something on steam makes it inferior to Idle Master and its forks and is the biggest turn off for me.

You actually have to select games with it? That would make idling a huge hassle since you have to do that every time instead of it just happening automatically on background without any interaction other than adding the games to account.

I just tested and there is a button that adds all games to the queue. The "Enqueue Selected" will add all games from the list to the queue, I guess everything counts as selected, that's probably bad wording. It also added blacklisted games to the queue, which is weird and now I have to manually find and remove them from the queue.
I guess there are improvements that have to be made, but I like this app because it makes it easy to select what you want and don't want to idle. I'm a bit picky when it comes to that, because I don't want to fake hours played on some games that I intend to play.
Perhaps I might switch to Idle Master Extended, if that one even works.

I can see why people with multiple accounts would prefer it. I guess people who rarely play would find it useful as well. But for those who only have one account and play a lot on steam it's far from ideal.

I have got to look into Idlemaster again.
about a year ago, I still used it and taking advantage of a "bug" it had, I managed to get card drops real fast like 50 cards in 5 minutes. Played with that bug to get most of my cards dropped in an hour or so.
That was the single best way I ever got cards from my games compared to the usual 10 or so per night.
I should try the above link from another poster to check if it still works.

hourboostr is amazing both for idling hours and trading cards, although the idlemaster extended fast mode is better (and faster as it says), anyways hourboostr/singleboostr is awesome and works perfectly (and it's 100% safe)

It safe if u don't unlock all achievements when u have less then 1 hour on the game at least.If u want just take cards from game that's pretty safe,cuz SAM just emulates the launch of the game.

as other said, idle master extended - must - or should work .. it works perfectly on my pcs, from windows 7 to windows 10 without any issue.. the fast mode is definitely awesome, hourboostr is good too but idlemaster for what concerns cards it's perfect! try it on another pc maybe! =)

Hello guys well i need some suggestion trustly one programs what can drop u steam cards like idle master just not working anymore and have some problem with asf cant start it.using idle daddy over phone but its slow need one night for 3 cards its a joke...Anyone got any other suggestion? Thank you!
