Well, not really anything I was hoping to see, but I can recommend some titles.
Fear Effect is considered a quality title, something you should attempt. Silent Hill is meant to be one hell of a horror game if you like that genre. All three Resident Evil games are worth grabbing. And don't miss the Spyro trilogy. Castlevania is a nice action game with some RPG elements.

Castlevania has a large map you go through, killing enemies and gaining levels, equipment and additional abilities, to make yourself more powerful. At the end of the game, you shall take on Dracula.
My knowledge of Fear Effect is limited, given I didn't play the first game myself, and very little of the second game while I owned it. What little I played pointed to gameplay similar to Resident Evil (tank controls, fixed camera angles) but more likely to be an action focused game and story than survival horror.

Metal Gear Solid and Silent Hill are must have, in my opinion. Those two are pure masterpieces. Resident Evil Trilogy is a great investment also. Other games that are really good are Crash Bandicoot, MediEvil, Syphon Filter, Tekken 2, Castlevania: SotN, Spyro the Dragon. I don't mention Tomb Raider because who doesn't know Tomb Raider, right?

Crash Bandicoot (1, 2 and 3) if you like platforms, CTR if you like the style of Mario Kart (I actually find CTR to be more fun >-<), Spyro The Dragon because it's awesome, Metal Gear Solid is a classic, really good, Symphony of The Night is great fun and Tomb Raider II - I know, it may feel weird because this game didn't age that well, but it's so good anyways.
PS1 games have a dear spot in my heart, and those are some of my favorites. :3

Mission Imposible is like Metal gear but more acction type, i love the part when you try to steal the NOX list, like in the move or the sniper section...
About Jackie Chan, is like a rought version of batman arkham asylum, is super lineal and with some platformer elements, but for a ps1 game, the combat mechanics are awesome

medievil it's a great game!,it's a TPP action game with a lot of grotesque type of humour, mostly you're crawling through dungeons, villages and cutting down enemies, searching for coins and funny things to wear ;d

Has anyone mentioned Croc or Crash Bandicoot? Besides Spyro those were my favorites.

Croc has pretty clunky controls and camera, but those didn't bother me when I was 4-5 years old.

You... You misspelled "Spyro"! How could you?! :O
Anyway, the Spyro games are fantastic and I still play them to this date. I do not own Resident Evil 1,2, and 3 nor do I own the Metal Gear Solid game. I have not played them before either. I am still trying to make up my mind whether to buy them or not.
I bought the Crash Bandicoot game since I, just as with Spyro, loved the series back when I was younger. I am just saddened by the fact that they did not include the second and the third game in the sale :/

i have metal gear collection for the vita thanks to PS+. Since i haven't played those should i buy metal gear solid for PS1?
Yes, you must. To me MGS1 is the best game in the entire series. MGS2 is a direct continuation of the story of MGS1. And MGS3 is a prequel. So there you go.

SoTN holds up extremely well. I would recommend playing that if you are a fan of Medtroidvania games to see not only where the other half of that combo comes from, but just some really fun action/adventure/rpg shenanigans.
If you had a Gamecube I would recommend The Twin Snakes instead, since that was the "HD" remake of MGS1. Either way you play it, it is still one of the best games in that series and would definitely be worth your time if you are at all interested in the series to begin with.

ironically enough i think i never had a metroidvania game before. i played demos but i never bought one, because i mainly play on PC.
I don't know where i have my gamecube but i have my wii ready to go. Is the HD remake equal or better then the original version? is it worth spending a bit more?

It is kind of a toss up. They used the MGS 2 engine and made it look and play much better. Is it worth more? Only if it is as easy to get for you. I wouldn't recommend going out of your way for it, but if you can get it as easy and as inexpensive it might be worth your time to take a look at it.

Having played both the original and Twin Snakes, I say the original is still better in terms of continuity. Twin Snakes looks better but it had a different director and therefore characters' emotions in cutscenes are hugely overplayed, and the action looks inappropriately over-the-top. Add different music here and there (which, IMO, made some crucial scenes having less emotional impact than the original), and you'll get the idea.
In terms of how remakes are done these days Twin Snakes stays very true to the original, however noticeably messes up some of the original's strong points. I enjoyed it solely due to nostalgia of visiting the old locations in modern graphics and the curiosity of watching the unnecessarily "pumped up" cutscenes, but the original PSOne version remains unbeatable to me.

I skipped the ps1 console. Because of that i don't have much knowledge on PS1 games.
I would enjoy knowing your opinion on some of the games on this sale.
Which ones are worth buying?
edit:
thank you for these recomendations. because of that i have a few new questions.
i have metal gear collection for the vita thanks to PS+. Since i haven't played those should i buy metal gear solid for PS1?
Since i'm buying the sonic racing game using my steam wallet, should i skip CTR for now?
does destruction derby hold up in time?
Can someone talk a bit about the gameplay of medievel?
Is castlevania simphony of night a good starting point for the castlevania series?
I also would like to thank those that spoted resident evil pack and spiro trilogy. i thought it was just one game XD
