Heart Fragment Wins Causing Suspensions For Non Acitvated Wins

Beware support suspended my account for not activating my win for Heart Fragment last year in April. The game WAS acctivated on my account https://imgur.com/UoUW6nW and was a false positive. As this game is now free to play I would suggest asking the giveaway creator to delete the giveaway to prevent your account getting suspended by support.

I'm confused about why this would cause someone to get suspended. If the game goes free to play, shouldn't it still show as activated on your account? I'm pretty sure there has been a decent amount of games that were once paid and then went free to play and I don't remember seeing threads here about people getting suspended for those games.

Did something different happen with this game? Did you manually remove the game from your account for some reason?

Nope I have never removed any game from my account. I was just saying since this game is now free to play if you have won this in the past I would suggest to contact the creator of the giveaway and ask them to delete the giveaway to prevent your account from getting suspended. I dont know that the reason it showed as a false positive was because it is now free to play.

That's what I am confused about. There are lots of games that were once paid and then switch to free to play and I'm sure there were lots of giveaways created for those games. There are threads that list all the games each year, here is the thread for 2023.

I was just trying to understand why this one game going free to play would cause it to show as not activated when I didn't think it happened with the hundreds of other previous games that have done the same thing.

It doesn't seem necessary for everyone to contact previous giveaway creators and ask them to create support tickets to delete the giveaways. If there is a problem with all previous giveaways of this game, I would think the game would get whitelisted by support so they don't suspend every winner or have to deal with tons of support tickets.

I am not saying that the game going free to play is what caused it as show as not activated on my account. I was only saying that now that it is free it would not effect the giveaway creators CV so anyone that has won this game should contact the creator and have them delete the giveaway as it would not effect the person that made the giveaway,

Imo, that a false negative check from steam (about steam you don't have this game), think that because on you're Imgur picture there the "Account Alert" mainly used when a used key for game got revoked + you have " Heart Fragment > It's not in my library "

I used that to prove to support that it was a false postive and that it was activated on my account last year in april when I won it.
