Important: Do not mark it as received, whatever else you do (at least not unless the gifter sends you a non-region-locked copy.) You'll get in trouble for not redeeming a game you said you received.
Instead, let the gifter know about the problem; give them a bit of time to respond; then mark it as not received.

Yeah, contact him and explain the situation, give him a week to fix the problem then mark unreceived...if I had a spare ROW copy (and if this wasn't against site rules), I'd contact you privately and offer a swap, than go give the locked copy away somewhere else...but sadly, I don't...and it is...

I won Particula region locked gift 2 days back. As per the site rules, region locked gifts should not be given away. Sadly gifter mentioned its region locked in the description in his native language and unknowingly i joined it. He sent me the gift, i didn't know what to do. Luckily i had 90% coupon for the same game so i just accepted his gift and marked received. I bought the game through market and added it in Lib. Hope i didn't break any rules or get suspended for not redeeming the same gift :(

That would be breaking 2 rules: No regifting. No giving away region locked games. Seems like you need to go read up on the site rules.

Giving away region locked games on the forums would be no problem. No one gets CV ;)
However it would be very impolite to the gifter, maybe he didn't even know. And even if he did it's best to deny the gift.

Yoh guys, i won a game on steamgifts called Particula, the problem is, the game is region locked, i think steamgifts have a rule for that kind of giveaways but the gifter doesn't said anything about the game being region locked, what should i do?
