So I was just wondering, as usual, as to how many, and what, games you have beaten since the COVID-19 lockdowns began.

Believe it or not, I have not beaten anything. Been flitting between games and not completing anything.

Any platform, any service.

How about all you, brave SG'rs?

Only a handful of games on my PS4, Resident Evil 2, Steamworld Dig 2 and a couple of others. Still don't get the time to play games as much as I'd like.

I work my normal hours, but due to public transportation being reduced to 20% my commute to / from work takes about 2 hours longer. So I have less time to game now... so 0.

I have just counted and it's 27. But I have started playing Darkest Dungeon and GTA Online again so thats the reason it's not more than 30 by now. :p I dedicated this time to games since i normally don't play much.

Nearly as many as during whole last year. Last year I beat only 11 games in total. This year I have free weekends because of that, so free time for gaming and today I finished 10th game from "lockdown" (not really lockdown for me, but there are some restrictions) and 13th game in total this year. But mostly HOGs here + TWD A New Frontier (stil thinking about Final one when I will put time into it) and my fingers are looking for Tomb Raider.

Nothing; I won the .hack compilation here, and I've been playing that ever since. I beat the first volume, if that counts.

So far nothing changed for me, still working as usual. And recently got Valve Index, so i spend some free time with Beat Saber and sometimes Dota 2.
But since March i finished Batman™: Arkham Knight and Broforce (with friend thanks to Remote Play Together, which is awesome) and slowly finishing GRID Autosport, which i started playing in 2016 :D

I was an essential healthcare worker, until I broke my foot on the job last week. X"D So I haven't had that much time but I've beaten a couple or three in my backlog. Since I like open-ended games, it' pretty hard to complete them per se, but I've been playing My Time in Portia obsessively for the past few days.

Well, that's certainly a quick escalation from foot lesions.
Hopefully it's not too serious a break?

The damage itself isn't too bad but since the fracture impeds my ability to walk it's severe enough to put me off my feet for weeks. If it wasn't for Steam, I would be out of my freaking mind. I'm a super active and busy person, I don't deal with being still at home well and I don't know how everyone has managed.
Also, that's an interesting article, there's a correlation in the symptoms at least. I can't tell since my whole toe/foot is purple but the last time I was tested it was negative so I should be safe on that front at least! I hope every one else stays healthy and whole!

Could be worse but, that's certainly bad enough. How're you managing the pain?

A combination of alcohol, self-delusion, and sleeping in? Also, being angry online (had a friend of several years completely flip out on me a few days ago, actually, so not even just directing that at the usual suspects) and not staying in.

there's a correlation in the symptoms at least.

Yeah, I thought it interesting timing, considering how recent that association being made public was.
That said, I don't think Corona has mutated to the point where it "fills up your foot with infection" before moving to the lungs, so you should be fine. But, I mean, if you aren't, do let us know, because in that case this thing clearly is going to start popping out zombies sooner rather than later, what with that sort of mutation rate. :P

but the last time I was tested it was negative so I should be safe on that front at least!

I'm not even sure we can get tested here yet. I've seen places with banners reading "NOT a testing center", but I haven't seen any saying they are one, nor any public announcements as to where one could go for that. Best I can tell from googled sources for our area, we're supposed to call our GP with our symptoms, and then they'll refer us to a hospital for a check-up if they feel it's necessary? And that's all I can get from secondary sources, even. The official site for our area simply has a self-assessment list and no actual recommendations for action.

Y'know, considering that, maybe it's for the best that a majority in the county have started wearing masks, despite our county only having had a few dozen cases so far. I mean, maybe? Last time they announced anything on that was when we had 40-something cases on April 1st. Which, unfortunate date association aside, was nearly three weeks ago now..

Yeah... definitely seeing reason to favor that combination of alcohol, self-delusion/willful-ignorance, and sleeping (to ignore the outside world). :P

OUCH! I can 100% sympathize with you. I've had two foot injuries. Just take it easy and make sure it's as close to 100% as you feel before using it again.

Dunno about any lockdown, but there sure've been a lot of cosplayers out of late.
Like, it's to the point where there's at least 6 for every 4 people who aren't cosplaying.
And all of them seem to be wearing costumes that have face masks, for some reason?
Bizarre, quite bizarre. And some of the costumes are decidedly more.. unusual than others.

We dont have a lockdown in my country. I have beaten one game that I had 50+ hours on. But that game I started way before the virus started to spread outside of China.

I also finished A short Hike in beginning of march, but thats a short game.

Gothic, Shadows of Mordor, Tomb Raider, 12 Labours of Herkules III, working on Darksiders and Elex.
But I still have too many unplayed games, so lockdown won't be long enough to beat them all.

We don't have a lockdown in my country, we are basically free to go wherever we want whenever we want as long as we keep our 1,5m distance and don't go in groups.

I 'finished' some games so far and I also finished some games.
I say 'finished' because I started them way before but never got the last achievements.

  • Heroic Dungeon (finally 100% it)
  • Mimpi Dreams (never played before but had broken achievements)
  • Ace of Words (finally 100% it)
  • Picross Hansel and Gretel - Nonograms (finally 100%, some achievements were bugged)
  • Purrfect Date (finally 100% it, 1 achievement was bugged)
  • Lines Infinite (never played before and 100% it)
  • Enigmatis: The Ghosts of Maple Creek (never played before and 100% it)

I'm in homeoffice with kids - beat 2 short games which I won on SG ("Skyland: Heart of the Mountain" &" Hare In The Hat", each needs ~2 hours to finish but it took me a bit more to get all achievements that can be obtained without DLC) and almost finished the Final Fantasy VII Remake.
Started playing "Pathfinder: Kingmaker" but that one will most likely keep me busy for atleast the rest of the month. ...possibly even next month.
