This is going to sound stupid (and it is) but hear me out.

What if there was on option to create a "random" giveaway? It would cost 30(maybe more) points and the game that is being given away is unknown to both the people who enter the giveaway and the giveaway creator. Only after the giveaway ends would everyone find out which game it is and the giveaway creator would have to give that game to the winner, and of course buy it if he didn't already have it. It would add a bit of excitement because you'd spend a lot of points and you could get shitty free game, OR you could get a great game like Witcher 3 or GTA V. It would probably have to cost more than 30 points because of that. Thoughts?

The best part of this thread is that you already called it "crazy" yourself, so that we don't have to. ;-)

But seriously: No. This should never become an option.

Even if there were a reasonable way to do it, I think it goes against the purpose of how SteamGifts works.

I think the purpose should be to join giveaways for games you want to play.
