After some back and forth the Jigidi website is more or less safe from autosolver scripts, so i decided to go back to my old monthly format on my next cakeday (Jan 24th). I will close this thread on Dec 26th. Of course i will end it with a blast: Unbundled weekly giveaways only in the advent season. Have fun and thanks to all of you. Special thanks to all the giveaway and puzzle contributors, love you all ;)
Bug Fables: The Everlasting Sapling
Duration: Ends Dec 26th, 6:00 pm (GMT+1)
Feel free to share your own jigidis, i will add them to the list. If you don't wanna create a jigidi, but want to solve one for a specific game, write a request and i will see what i can do ;)

edit2: solved the second puzzle 20:05
edit3 : solved the third puzzle 59:29
You were the first to solve it, the first 3 solves were autosolvers, who cannot read ;)
This great puzzle DrTenma, thanks for the fun.
the first 3 solves were autosolvers...
the first 3 solves were autosolvers...
I hope you report them + they get a punishment.
And i hope that they have diarrhea in the reallife + the doors of all reachable toilets are closed or that they have no toilet paper.
Yes i am evil
lol, I hope there is karma for those people too :)
Thanks for bumping, have a great sunday!
DrTenma, thanks for your jigidis :)
Hi yaromirro, you are welcome ;)
Thanks, have a good one!
Thank you for continuing the tradition, bump! 😄
Bump! Thanks for continuing the GAs and Puzzles!
Thanks, zazou. Hope this way is working for everyone
As long as there are still some potato puzzles, I'm cool with it. 🙂
No, i am out of potato dish ideas, it's the secret main reason the thread is over ;)
thanks~~ I guess u figured out how to keep the best of both worlds ;)
Lovely jigidi, thank you :)
Actually made the leader board, came second (or last, only two of us so far).
Hi Delisper, 40+ solver and you are still on it ;)
Relegated now, but it was a pleasant surprise to see my name for a bit :)
I like the idea of a weekly puzzle, thank you for this.
jigidis be bumping!!
Thanks, Goliath! Have a good one!
It took me about 45 minutes to solve last week's jigidi.I'm always curious why some people can solve a big jigsaw in 20 mins which I need a hour or more.
Sometimes you just need watching the puzzle before beginning it and think what colours or parts you should complete first. For example, in this puzzle: red, blue, plants and border, then white and finally grey and yellow.
I don't think I have the brain for jigsaw......
Basically what Ikkimura said: go for the borders and ovious colours that go together, finishing up with the background pieces.
Also, a couple of months ago I purchased a bigger 4k monitor to replace my smaller full HD one, and I noticed a good improvement in my Jigidi times (maybe 25% faster solving, if not more). I seem make the top 10 a lot easier now. That's because I can fit a lot more pieces on my screen while not having to zoom out too much. I obviously didn't by the monitor for Jigidi's, but can help to explain why some people are faster, besides skill and experience.
That all said the time doesn't interest me much, as long as I'm having fun I don't really care about the time. Look at it from another point: if you solve a puzzle in 1 hour while the others did it in 20 minutes; you had an hour of fun, and the others only had 1/3rd of the fun :).
I use ipad. The pieces are really small:(
I can only back up Giesber's comment. I'm using a QHD monitor(TN but with a quite good colour palette) and it's much much easier than on my old 19''. With a good screen you see more pieces, they have more details and you can distinguish even slight differences in colours. It wasn't the case in this image, but sometimes it's also worth to change the background to improve contrast(I've solved jigidis where I used 3-4 background colours for this exact reason)
It would be nice to try a jigidi on a 32'' 4k IPS panel at some point
For an ipad that's a really good time. Some are faster cause they got a puzzle brain, some are faster cause they click faster and some are faster cause they got a bigger screen ;)
Thanks, have a great sunday!
Thank you for the bump, have a good one!
Thanks for puzzle
Thanks for bumping
NO MORE POTATO PUZZLES?!! How dare you!!!
Ok you got me, i was out of ideas for potato dish puzzles and needed a lame excuse to stop doing them and then the cheater appeared ...
Bump, thanks for the puzzle! 44:32 for me, a bit slower than most of the others out there.
Only a little bit. Looks like some people with autosolver, who cannot read, still did the puzzle so the number of real solvers is probably 40 and you are close to the top 10
That's true, I swear, I am trying as fast as I can, and trying to stay focused, and that's pretty much my typical speed for a puzzle of this size, more time for ones that have big patches of ambiguous colors. I don't understand how some people are so fast--not the autosolvers, but the people who are < 20. Heck, even 20-30 min solves are impressive for this size.
Few comments above you, the top guys give their tips and say the monitor makes a huge difference
I think my brain is just not the best for puzzle-solving, but that's okay, I still enjoy them. :-) I am on a 32 in 4K monitor... ᓚᘏᗢ
Thanks, hope this way is working for everyone
God bless DrTenma.
Woot 40:22. I had no idea that autosolvers were a thing.
Surprisingly the old flash version was safer in this matter, the html version opened doors. The script i know about, came out a little bit over a year ago.
Yep, have to work around that.
Ask people to give you the code, and prove they have a decent time, then provide a link for an invite only giveaway manually or such.
I'm disappointed that people would go to such length to join a giveaway. It's crazy to see that you can't even begin to trust anybody -_-
Don't know why the script was created in the first place. Probably another reason. Making it public and keeping it updated is done by someone else and not the original creator. But in the end I don't care why. Like in relationships, if you start to play a detective, then it might be time to just move on.
I agree with that ecard. Definitely.
Thank you for staying awesome in spite of people with autosolvers trying to ruin everything for the rest of us.
Hi Zarddin, hope this way works for everyone.
Shame about the cheaters. Glad you're keeping the jigidis going though :)
Did not want to give up too early and i think this way kinda works for everyone
