Nvidia posted a detailed article with a description of every Nvidia-exclusive feature this title will use.

There's a benchmarking tool available to check performance:

"With this benchmark tool, you will receive a score which will indicate the performance index for operating FINAL FANTASY XV WINDOWS EDITION on your PC."

The preorder will go up on February 1st as well, and that will include store-specific bonuses. It is unclear if they will also be available as paid DLC.

  • Windows Store – By pre-ordering through the Windows Store, fans will receive the bonus “Final Fantasy XV Powerup Pack.” This pack contains items designed to power up the player’s performance in combat.
  • Steam – By pre-ordering through Steam, fans will receive the bonus “Final Fantasy XV Fashion Collection.” This pack contains a selection of outfits for the prince and his pals.
  • Origin – Those who pre-order on Origin will receive the bonus “Final Fantasy XV Decal Selection.” This pack contains an array of cool and colorful decals for the Regalia. More details on the early purchase bonuses will be available at a later time.
  • The physical version, which comes with a Steam key, does not include preorder bonuses.

EDIT: It looks like the items for the Steam version will actually take advantage of Steam's inventory system, as there are some test items displayed on the game's steamdb page
EDIT2: The game will have official mod support as confirmed here
EDIT3: Added link to the benchmarking tool

I honestly don't know how I would check for region locking but the page is still there. You should be able to see the game from its Steamdb page here

It's been ages since I've played a FF game on PC (I don't like MMO's)... Now this, and the remastered version of XII too... I DUN BELIEVE IT

50 is pretty steep for a game this old. should be 30 at the absolute extreme...

it's like a year old. and they enhanced it quite a bit. i have nothing against paying less in general, but the price is quite alright, if you ask me. compare it to GTA V. same situation. don't remember anyone complaining about the price back then.

Bonus Content.
Final Fantasy XV: Windows Edition boasts a wealth of bonus content, including content contained in free updates to the console versions as well as paid downloadable content originally available through the Season Pass. Players can also explore the world of Eos through Noctis’ eyes in an all-new first-person mode.

The price is fine, I think FINAL FANTASY XII THE ZODIAC AGE will be for $50 also and well...it's a bit older.

Paid $119.99 back in january of last year. Which would be like 97.99€ according to the current exchange rate.

US Amazon - Currently $134.99, don't think you'll be able to get it for that price though.

https://www.amazon.com/Mushkin-REACTOR-500GB-Internal-MKNSSDRE500GB/dp/B01MT7DDIK/ref=sr_1_fkmr0_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1516134464&sr=8-1-fkmr0&keywords=500%2Bgb%2Bmushkin%2Breactor%2Bf&th=1

Item in question. I think you'd have to go through amazon.uk or amazon.es, and amazon.es only has the 480 for 184,64€

I keep forgetting about the mark up for other countries.

That's my only concern, there's no mention of framerate either. Time to wait for the benchmark utility they promised on February 1st

Looks like they are already selling those "pre-order" cosmetics, and some of them for a broken price. Never saw in-game items sold outside Steam though, now you seem to be able to buy them directly? https://steamdb.info/app/637650/items/
