I would say it involves alot of luck since there will always be alot of entries in a game unless you get into a whitelist/group or are a high level. Even if you get to a high level it seems that the users that are making high level giveaways don't make them public.

There was a guide written a year ago by deltabladex that gives more information about increasing winning chances but it was written a year ago so im not sure if its still entirely valid.

Theres a link if u want to view it:

The only major thing that's technically missing in his guide are whitelist giveaways, but these are the same in principle as group giveaways.

Also automated blacklists that now apply to every giveaway. General advice for avoiding them is not to be a dick.

Can you explain more about these automated blacklists?

In SGv2 (current version) there is integrated blacklist - nobody you put in it will be able to see or enter your giveaway at all.
In SGv1 it was not automated. If you wanted a blacklist, you had to put a list of people on an outside site like Pastebin, and could only use it in private (and small group) giveaways after support approved your blacklist. Should a blacklisted person win your GA, you had to manually request a reroll.

We literally have thousands of people here. The calculation you did is completely off. It's completely random.

It's completely random. The more popular a game is, the more people will enter the giveaway (and the less chance you have of winning). Everyone in a giveaway has a completely equal chance of winning.

Great Explanation, Thanks ^^

I'm entered 14375 giveaways, won 56.
Its totally random when you win, once I'm won 2 item at the same day, and I had a month without win anything

Nope, he had a bit over 2000. He was legendary because of the "Estimated wins" statistic.
