Dungeon Defenders Question

Hey everybody, my friends and I are going to buy the Dungeon Defenders DLC during the flash sale. My friends own none of the DLC and the complete collection only costs around 40 cents more than buying all the DLCs individually. I was wondering if he bought the complete collection even though he owns the original base game if he would get the Steam exlusive DLC. Thanks.

It should, as the Steam-exclusive DLC comes with the base game.
