lol i think he was joking about the practice of some of these developers to raise the price of there games prior to a sale and then marking it down with like 65% off were the price you pay ends up being close to the normal price.

...Because we all know one or more person(s) will make this thread after the sale kicks in, even though the past sales have all been similar and everyone should know what to expect already. GTA V won't be 90% off. That game you really want to buy and waited for the winter sale rather than buying it off HumbleBundle when they had a sale; won't go on sale at all this year.
You'll be sad, angry, but also very disappointed, and yet you'll have spent too much on a bunch of games you'll add to your backlog and probably won't even play before the next big sale. You're disappointed in Valve, but even more disappointed in your lack of self-control when it comes to shopping for games.
