Wow! The Classic Sierra bundle for 91% off! This sale is awesome even before it started, I have no idea what you're talking about. The only reason why I didn't buy it yet is the two trading cards I'm supposed to get if I spend 20 bucks on Steam (if they didn't change anything this year).

I honestly don't think sales get that much worse from year to year. It's just that the pool of interesting titles gets smaller. Like I'm sure there won't be that much going on for stuff I really want, but I'll bet all the good stuff I already have will be on good sales. That doesn't make it a bad sale at all. It's just less for me to buy because I've taken advantage of so many other sales in the past.
If I can get the Telltale Batman game for 50%+ off I'll be pretty happy. But even if I buy nothing at all (as if) I don't see myself complaining. If nothing else the meta game should be entertaining

Dude, you sound so unusual... reasonable. Nice to hear that not everybody is crying about decent discounts. I've done a lot of good deals in the past (-50% -75%), no need to wish getting everything for free. Have fun with Batman :)

...Because we all know one or more person(s) will make this thread after the sale kicks in, even though the past sales have all been similar and everyone should know what to expect already. GTA V won't be 90% off. That game you really want to buy and waited for the winter sale rather than buying it off HumbleBundle when they had a sale; won't go on sale at all this year.
You'll be sad, angry, but also very disappointed, and yet you'll have spent too much on a bunch of games you'll add to your backlog and probably won't even play before the next big sale. You're disappointed in Valve, but even more disappointed in your lack of self-control when it comes to shopping for games.
