Question with CS:GO Beta

I was on steam when another window popped up. I looked at it, and it was in the format of a update news page. It said I have recieved the CS:GO Beta, and it is in my library. It also said something about getting guest passes and passing the gift on. I looked in my inventory and could not see more invites. Also, I did not get an email like I did with the Dota 2 Beta invite. Does anbody know what is happening?

Restart steam it should be lying in your inventory too.
