No. You just need to send the invite. You can even cancel the invite afterward.

Now I'm just trying to figure out how to open the Steam overlay on the cellphone. I can't get it to come up on the pc using Shift+tab so that I can add them for remote play.

This is the last quest I need to complete for Steam's event.
Wondering if anyone can help me get this one done - just need to add someone, and then send the remote play to add to lobby.
