The game has already removed the Godzilla DLC, so it's highly unlikely they'll change their minds or bring it back. Very unlikely to drop further in price

The DLC has some fun things but it is very very short (1 hour or so), so many may consider it not worth it.

I suppose it's more a licensing issue than FOMO. The Godzilla DLC was free, but also temporary. But the DREDGE DLC is free and has no removal date.

I imagine SEGA and Tōhō Co. are more demanding with their IPs. Although I agree, they should have sought better deals than something with the duration of a Content Pass.

Licensing "issue" to spark FOMO. I don't think a single other game had limited time DLC like this, available for 6 months only.
Yet Dave has the SECOND such DLC. They have the license for the length of time they choose to pay for. They chose to do this, again.

At least this is the last one. Future DLC won't be time-limited, that was a promise they made after releasing this one.

I don't like it either, maybe it'll be a good while until I forget it and buy the game at a steeper discount.

FOMO DLC makes me not want to buy the base game anymore

Thought the same, but paco could be right. I bought the game after the Godzilla DLC was removed and still could activate via SteamDB, lucky me.
If you buy the base game only, you'll still have a great experience. It's such a nice game.
