I don't think there any way of doing this, but I'll ask anyways.

I've bought about a billion bundles it feels like and currently own over 3000 games on Steam. I used to take the time and give away the extra games to my friends by checking who had it in their wishlist. This became time consuming so I gave up on that. I was posting them on my wall for anyone to grab that figured out the last character, but I have no idea what games were being activated and what weren't. Some of these keys are a year old.

I got tired of that and have just been building up a large file of keys. I've decided to start using this website again after having signed up on it a very long time ago. For the most part the keys have been fine but I have run into an issue where 3 of the keys so far have been activated.

I've gone through checking them the only way I know how, trying to activate them on my account. I've had some pop up and tell me they're activated so I've discarded them. I guess this only works when it's been activated by someones account not my own because these keys that are showing activated I have checked myself and it's only told me that I already own them, not that they've already been activated.

I hate for people to win something and not get it, but then again I am only doing this to get rid of extra games I have.

How quickly when I get the "I'll check them for you" replies? :)

You're right, there's no way to tell if a key has been used or not, until you try to activate it.

And even then you only get the "already used" message if you don't own the game - and unused keys will get added to your account in the process and thereby now are used, too.

If you already own the game, you will get the "game owned" message, regardless of whether or not the key is used.

Make a second account with no games to see which ones are duped?

when u add a key and the pop up says u already own the game, doesnt mean that the key its good to go. If its not used then it still works. but u cannot know exactly. If u start doing GA's again, the worst case scenario would be to have a couple of GA's with "not recieved" option. But in your case i would not worry cause given the amount of keys u have, the ratio would be minimal.

best of luck
