kicks ass ?
I got the1 $1 one for now, fyi it only gives you a single key so if ya already have any of the games you won't get extra copies to give away.

I just wanted the Viking game and was going to do giveaways with the others - thanks for the save!

This one key per tier shit again... Still not a bad deal, but it really sucks that I can't give the other games that I already have away :(

Yeah, where's rachel's post with the charts and everything?
I guess we've been spoiled by her posts

A life outside SG??? What is that thing you speak of?
I might still grab the $1 tier, and maybe BTA if it goes down enough. (Although it seems to be headed on the other direction at the moment)

btw i made a new bundle post <3 thanks for linking to my thread though! so sweet of you :D

I didn't want to bump this post to the top, but since you just bumped it a few minutes ago, I'll go ahead and reply here. I did see your new thread. Thank you very much for posting it, and for posting all of the other deals here on the site. You contribute to this community in a very meaningful way, and I don't know if you hear that enough from the users that enjoy your clear and concise style (and incredible quickness in noticing deals, to boot!). Thanks for replying, and thanks for keeping us informed. I hope classes are going well for you, and I hope you have a splendiferous week!

Oh, sarcasm. That's reeeeeeaaaaaaal mature of you.
Seriously, though, if you beat rachellove to the punch on a bundle, you best make the post look pretty. Take a look at one of her posts for ideas on how to lay out the pertinent information, and check the FAQ for info on formatting (ie - making tables).

I guess I'll get 1 $ tier for Medieval II: Total War,it looks like a game that I can sink a few 100 hours in.

Thanks for the info, already looking up some mods on Moddb . ^^

Damn only one key,so i can not even do a split as i must assume the other tiers are the same way.
I understand why they do this, but i do not resell them.i merely split the cost with others so i can get the games i want and they do,without anyone having to buy stuff they do not want or need.
I am let down that Humble is going this route more and more, though i should say the publishers since it most likely there call, but i do understand why they are. Thanks to sites like G2A and so on they have to resort to this kind of stuff, and people wonder why i do not approve of them.
Not to mention the only thing worth it other then 1 tier would be me buying the 15 dollar one and i do not really want total war II and the the second tier so far only has one game i want....so i would be spending about 5 bucks hoping the unlocked games are worth it.
Not sure i even want to bother with this bundle since i will be buying more then i want or need.

Yes, all tiers are like that, it's noted right on the bundle page:
NOTE: Steam keys in this bundle are packaged together by tier and cannot be separated. Redeeming packaged keys on Steam will not produce Steam gifts for items already in your library. Additional content keys for Total War: ARENA and Total War Battles: KINGDOM do not redeem on Steam.

My educated guess for the unlocked games next week is going to be Rome: Total War and Napoleon: Total War. No guarantees on that prediction, but it seems likely. Hope that information helps you with your decision.
Comment has been collapsed.
Well, the BTA tier includes a Humble Store coupon for 66% off Attila, so I don't think that game will be added next week. Warhammer doesn't even have an official release date yet, so that's definitely out. Shogun 2 or the Shogun 2 collection might be included next week, but I really doubt it. Even though the Shogun 2 games are 3-4 years old now, they are still going for US$30 each on Steam (or US$40 for the collection). IsThereAnyDeal indicates that the cheapest price Shogun 2 has hit was US$7.50, the cheapest price Fall of the Samurai has hit was US$7.50, the the cheapest price the Shogun 2 collection has hit was US$10.00. I think SEGA still considers Shogun 2 to be too valuable right now to include in their BTA unlocks next week.
Comment has been collapsed.
That was i was thinking, but there is also Shogun 2 though they may or may not add that might be a bit far fetched but then did also include the first one in the 1tier
Either way as of now the only one i want from Tier 2 is MEDIEVAL: Total War Collection,I already own Empire, not worth it for the missing dlc that is for sure. The coupon for Total War: ATTILA i would not waste it on that even if it was 75% lol.
So in the end i already have Napoleon Wars,so Rome and Shogun 2 would be the only ones i can think of that they would add that i do not have.If the keys where not all in one,i would just do a split or GA on the ones i do not want or need but all well.
In the end it is Sega loss not mine,as if i could have done a GA or split the bundle i would have at least purchased the second tier, now it just down to will i get the 1tier,i was also thinking of getting the 15 dollar but not if all one key.

It doesn't happen too often these days, and way back in the early days every bundle was 1 key per tier (up until around Humble Indie Bundle 6 or shortly thereafter). You are likely right about it being determined by the publisher though. So people should be blaming SEGA if anything. Just like they should have been when the Humble Nindie (Nintendo) Bundle was region locked.
Comment has been collapsed.
Well it is happening more.with the Borderlands bundle and a bundle before that so yeah when it goes from none having them and then more doing it,that would equal more and more,in the end it is not my decision i am not angry about it,just let down that i might pass on a bundle just for the sake of not buying 5 games i already own for one.Happened with Borderlands,i wanted to do a GA of the games, but wanted to complete the head hunter dlc and buy Pre with 75% off and stack it with my 10% off,but nope if i did that i would have to use the head hunter dlc and waste the rest...and could not even do a GA.
Yes it is most likely the publisher doing the tier key,but maybe it is Humble doing it on the bigger more popular games, most likely it is the Publisher, but i can not say without a doubt since i am not 100% sure.
Nintendo is knowing for region locked games so why would a bundle be region free up until the 360 started letting publishers decide regions all consoles had region locks, not all followed Microsoft down that path.so really nothing with Nintendo hadchanged,i would not expect them to sell region locked games then all sudden have a bundle and make them region free.

Well at least my wallets safe today. I'm not fond of these type of games.

Considering as a big TW fan...
have Medieval 2, Shogun, Medieval and Empire in DRM-Free but don't have Rome 2 at all ...
and for 15$ not only you take Rome 2 but 4 DLCs too, plus every other game in your steam library...
I literally don't know if i should resist or not!
Comment has been collapsed.
DRM free empire?
Wasn't empire the first TW title to require steam?
-edit-
Oh and imo Rome 2 isn't worth it, the DLC might seem enticing but the base game itself is still really boring, Attila is 50% off on steam atm + there a 66% discount code in the bundle that i'm sure people are giving away for free which is totally worth it's price though if you ask me.
Comment has been collapsed.
Since the day it was released, my local games shop sells copies of it as DRM-Free and that's where i got.
It doesn't even mention Steam on the game package. I learned Steam from Just Cause 2.
As for Attila, my PC cannot play it, pretty sure for it. Assuming that i play Fall of the Samurai on Low Graphics in order to get a smooth gameplay at the late campaign periods when the armies are massive, i have no luck with Attila atm

i think i'm going to be against the mainstream opinion but i really liked rome II.
What i liked about rome II:
What i didn't like about rome II

Pros:
I'll stay on your last sentence and say that this is the MAJOR reason why i am interested in R2.
As for the cons:
Comment has been collapsed.
1) i have all DLC and it hasn't been fixed, attila has the same problem. I think the problem comes from the game engine being made for empire where missile was the major fighting mechanic, as such in rome 2 missiles have excellent animations, effects and mechanics but melee feels a quite a bit weightless. the 1 on 1 fights are good but there are no 1- X fights, which would kindly be expected in a ancient battle. The phalanx also doesn't work as well as rome 1 and is a much defensive formation.
2) the lack of family tree makes the new politics mechanics feel almost meaningless.
3) There's probably mods that change the turns but i feel that rome and medieval 2 have a good "pacing" 1 turn being around half a year makes the game quite fast paced when compared to rome II. For example if a building takes 3 years to build you have to wait 12 turns without doing anything.

Anyone have any guesses or predictions for next week's unlocked games? My guess would be Rome: Total War and Napoleon: Total War.

Replied above, but copying and pasting my reply in case anyone is just skimming the comments and missed it the first time around. Shogun 2 or the Shogun 2 collection would be an awesome surprise, and might get me to buy the BTA tier, but I wouldn't count on it:
The BTA tier includes a Humble Store coupon for 66% off Attila, so I'm fairly confident that game won't be added next week. Warhammer doesn't even have an official release date yet, so that's definitely out. Shogun 2 or the Shogun 2 collection might be included next week, but I really doubt it. No problem at all. Don't apologize, and don't frown. Real Life takes priority, and that's how it should be. We're just spoiled by your awesome charts and links, and my comment was attempting to help Jastrzap improve his post, not complaining that you didn't post it first. Smile, and be happy that so many people here know you by name because of your awesomeness.

oh dear <3 this makes me smile! Although I am in no way insinuating Jastrzap is a bad poster ... but.... this gives me the opportunity to make another thread with a table :D
I hope you smile too! Because you are a wonderful person ^^
EDIT - the new post is up!!

What's so clever about it? There were at least two total war bundles before so everyone owns everything total war with the exception of maybe Attila and Rome 2 because those were the highest tier. And a lot of people would want to get the old Shogun because that one hasn't even been included in the master collection.
They're just trolling with their bundles.

Wasn't one of the top tier DLC (the nomadic one) already bundled in a Humble E3 bundle?
Comment has been collapsed.
Great bundle for me as I didn't own anything in tiers one and two, but have nearly everything in tier 3. Am hoping the extras in tier two include Napoleon.
