valve's system ranked has a small amount o logic, 1 thing i noticed playing csgo, if you play vs higher ranks, that means that u can go lvl up in rank in that game if u win

I'm GN1 and I know what you're talking of.
Basically it'll in the end put teams together that are the same strength. Like this:
GN2 - GN2
Silver 3 - Silver 3
GN1 - GN1
SEM - SEM
GN2 - GN2
There might be different ranks here, but in the end the team strength will be the same.

So, i'm pretty new to comp as some of you know. I was placed in silver 2, and ranked up silver 3 a couple games ago. But something that I noticed after I won my last game, was that everybody on the entire team was either 3 or 4 ranks above me. Why wasn't a matched with other silver 3's? Any explanation is appreciated. Thanks.
