We've been talking at work about that last week, and I wonder what people from different countries think. My colleagues were in so many places. USA, China, Germany, Austria, Ireland, United Kingdom, Tunisia, Moroko, India to name a few. Some plased they loved, some they despised.

Personally, I loved Austia. I live in Beskidy, so mountains are no news for me, but Alps have certain beauty. People are nice, and Vienna is so wonderfully cosmopolitan, and you can spend weeks visiting various interesting places, from museums and parks to pubs. I've also heard a lot of nice things about Ireland and I find it's landscapes very much to my taste, so I'd like to go there some day too.

I wouldn't go to North Korea, obviously because they treat you like an intruder and watch your every step. And for the same reason I'm not planning to go to United States. It may be a good country to it's citizens but I've heard a lot - first hand from people that have been there - about how every foreigner is by default potential terrorist or illegal immigrant to officials.

let me just say that there are some goddamn amazing sights in the USA but you have to be really legitimate about coming here because of all the security issues we've had within the past forever

I honestly like the USA and ohio but I'd really like to visit any country in europe someday because europe seems pretty chill aside from the government issues

I would not want to go to mexico or africa for obvious reasons, I love the spanish culture and language but if anything I would go to spain and not mexico

China and the U.S. but I've been there already. The least: Iraq, Libya, Syria, Sudan, Afghanistan, North Korea, Cuba.

I've never been to Asia and there is plenty of places there, Japan obviously, China, India.
Never been to South America either, Brazil would top my list there.
Not seen much of Africa either, so all over there.
Basically anywhere I haven't been yet.

Oh and least.....

Only war-zones really, I'd go anywhere at least once.

Edit: Actually I'd also like to one day visit Iran. I was born there and since leaving at the age of 2 I've never been back, so I definitely wanna go there some day.

And its often downright weird. Plus, a lot of locals don't care for whitey, which is rather unfortunate, even if I can understand the reasons.

Sorry but, what is "whitey"? As in a white person, or some kind of fancy drugs I don't know about

Especially if you go near anyplace that has a US military base. Unfortunately, bad apples have kind of poisoned things for everyone else.

Well then I guess it slightly helps I'm not white xD but yeah I know what you mean

Weird? How? I lived there and didn't notice anything out of the ordinary. And no, we don't ostracize "whitey's".

I spent a year in Okinawa, and encountered a number of businesses where we weren't allowed in.

Yeah, businesses tend to do that when they're closing.

I want to go to many European countries especially Italy, Sweden, Spain, etc...

The least? Well probably Greece since the country and the government isn't doing too well.

I'd love to go to Australia, Bali, and to visit the ancient ruins in Mexico (Mayan, Aztec, Teotihuacan).

I certainly wouldn't want to go to North Korea, and that probably tops my list as well. But of realistic places to go (i.e. places where Americans could actually visit), probably Saudi Arabia. Its a brutal, ruthless despotic regime that everyone ignores because of their vast wealth from oil.

I'm all for visiting foreign nations but given the opportunity, I'd probably just move back to Okinawa.

Hokka Hokka Tei and Taco Rice! The pizza in Okinawa is dreadful, though.

I'd never heard of those until I saw them on TV a few years ago. They sound delicious, but I never saw them in Okinawa. I was tempted to try and make some using a Cake Pop maker, but I'm not sure that it gets hot enough.

If I had complete and unfettered access and a means of absolutely guaranteeing my safety and freedom, then I'd be all for it. But its currently one of the worst places in the world, so it'd be easy for them to stick you in a work camp and forget about you. And there would absolutely nothing to stop them.

Well, they tend not to apply the same rules to foreigners as to their own people, but granted, it isn't a "safe" holiday destination, or one where you would be free to explore. Recent diplomatic incidents have made even harder for visitors to enter the country, so I doubt it will be a destination I'll be visiting any time soon...

It IS a deeply intriguing society though, and somewhere that has always interested me.
