The first link needs a '/' in the end for it to work.

Any link of the form http://www.steamgifts.com/giveaway/XXXXX/anything-goes-here will work.

This link, http://www.steamgifts.com/giveaway/XXXXX, requires a "/" at the end in order to work. Everything that comes after that is irrelevant, for the most part.
Edit: aaaaand I'm late, of course.....

I love the concept of puzzles on some of these giveaways, however I am a bit flummoxed by how one constructs a link from a puzzle in general.
I get the impression that links should work like this:
http://www.steamgifts.com/giveaway/XXXXX
but the only two I've guessed so far were like this:
http://www.steamgifts.com/giveaway/XXXXX/somethingelse
where something else is a username or other word hinted at in the puzzle. Can both methods for a link work? Or is only the second example valid?
