Honestly, there's one thing I hate is being cheated. I was just in a long convo with a guy who wanted to trade for a copy of Spider-man shattered dimensions. I'm fine with it, told him the price 18 keys, and once again I'm aware that I'm on the more expensive end of things, but I have a gift copy and you have the peace of mind you're actually getting the game. He spent 30 minutes trying to convince me that the amazon copies were for steam, they aren't. That he had someone who had a copy of the game and was willing to sell it to him for 12, to which my reply was okay. Like go do that, then he informed me that I needed to sell him the game cause I have competitors to which I replied. Yeah no I do not, you're free to buy it on g2a, you're free to buy it from someone with a humble link. I don't really care. That's literally how the free markets work. Not my job to market it to you. Anyway long story short he called me a hardass lamer.

He tried to convince me that he was doing me a favor. 15 keys for a game I bought for 8.99. 1. I didn't. 2. I pointed out that when I bought this game it was originally to give out on SG, I changed my mind because I wanted to get into the key business or at the very least have keys on hand to trade for games I want. I'm looking at you Kindred Spirits on the Roof. Or to atleast give my friends the keys so they can buy the games that I can't gift them. Either way that's 30 minutes of my life I'm not getting back and I just stole however long it took you to read this giant blurb from you. I win.

How many of you would trade for a more expensive copy of the game if the other person (Offering the game for cheaper) was just offline?

Sorry you had a crappy trade experience. This makes me never want to even start trading. It seems far too complicated, and not any better than just exchanging money for games at authorized retailers.

When I try to sell stuff on ebay and people send me stupidly low offers (like 80% less than my asking price) I just reject it and block them, no point in wasting my time, even if they'd come back to make a fair offer later I don't want to sell it to them anyway.

And topics like this are why I don't trade.
My palm spends too much time on my face already.

I've been called worse for less...

You have to love it though when someone who can't have their way and they always resort to name calling.Clearly, that person is used to having their way and when they can't they resort to being childish.

Ohh and thanks for the GA and good luck all.

It's always fun when people try to 'negotiate' by throwing insults or being obnoxious. Could be worse though, you could be offering commissions. The screencaps of people asking for freebies (from people offering commissions) are an interesting look into the mindset of quasi-anonymous greed.
Gotta love the "I can get it for cheaper... but I'm not gonna!" stuff though.

I don't think I can handle trading.
I once thought I'd try when I got my hands on about 15 copies of Prey, but I ended giving them out instead because tbh interaction with humans is stressful for me ;_;
Traders must have nerves of steel. Mine are made of noodles.

In my day a lamer used to be someone who didn't have the newest... er... 'exchangeable things of interest'. Not sure how this applies here. I just love to read these stories of people who try so hard to convince people that making a bad deal is actually beneficial for them :)

I wouldn't pay extra, even if I thought I would lose the buy. Then again, maybe I'm just a hard-ass lamer?

I'll take 2 keys for reading everything :3

I wouldn't really try to pay for the more expensive price. I'll just wait for some time on the cheaper price. Idk I'm thrifty like that :v
